Anyone heard that the Canucks are offering Kuzmenko for Guentzel?

No kidding. That's a good chip for the Pens to play at the TDL.

It's painfully obvious. This team need at least one if not two legit top 6 players added.

Karlsson Bains and Podz

Heard that rumour. Ignore those blowing it off out of hand instead of discussing it further.

Canucks cannot accrue cap & cash in for cash out has to happen. A UFA like Guentzal is seriously good top 6 but most of the league is in a cap crunch. So straight up nope being 1 good asset has to be added. If more then it has to be thought on very hard. Imo idk if he’s even getting shopped.

Really liking Lafferty & if he had linemates producing he’s a good 3rd wheel with his skill set.

It's games like this where none of the Canucks are really forechecking that well or showing a ton of energy, and the top six looks listless, that you wonder what standard Kuzmenko is being held to, lol

If you want a preview of playoff hockey you just saw it. Defensive, low scoring. tight. Fans should have realized how clueless when Canucks face a heavy team even a weak one like Bules (avg 200 lbs), they didn't even play physically hard on us but can make us lack physicality and overall weak puck retrieval. IMO to win the playoff series we need a heavy 2-way 2C, a heavy 4C, and probably another 3D. Skinny Petey is once again playing like dog poop, a non-factors in these against heavy teams, he didn't even dare to try his newest tool-reverse hit, because he knew if he does it he probably ends up being injured himself
For Toc's decision about Kuzy sitting for Karlsson in this 2-1 game.In case some of you guys have some short memory ... Our offense showed no sign of slowing down after putting up 6 vs Sens. Blues usually play a stringy, physical game which is not Kuzy's strong point. On paper it makes more sense to put in someone that's more willing to go into corners and get into puck battles. Obviously not a fantastic showing from Karlsson but I don't think he was that bad and I definitely don't think Kuzmenko was the missing answer in this game either.

Good teams know how to bury chances, unfortunately our top guys can't bury chances.

On the 2C at least someone who can create space for his wingers.
Drive play consistently. Win FO’s.

On a 3D 100% if planning to contend.

‘Didn’t’ this game. ‘Can’ when skating & good forecheck pressure.

Vegas lost.... they are dropping quite a few games lately. Canucks have some luck on their side.

LA is down a goal 5min left in the 3rd.

agree, We are weak on 4C, Nils Åman has been invisible since his first game, and this 179lbs Swedish dogpile will get pancaked in the playoff, I've seen enough of this guy

He was damn good in the playoffs a couple of years ago. More than a point per game...
