Carson Soucy will return to the lineup Saturday, Rick Tocchet confirms.

Nikita Zadorov dinged up, day-to-day. Won’t play Saturday.

Kuzmenko draws back in, replacing Linus Karlsson.

What happened to "The window is now! Get on board or stfu"

If someone was to group your posts together, it would look like two people arguing with polar opposite opinions.

I support the direction and management has done a phenomenal job. That doesn’t mean I believe p$ssies like EP and Boeser will lead us anywhere. Either way, been enjoying the season

It’s very rare for small, soft and average skating D to make the show

He is a six foot RHD that has 60 points in 38 games and leads the OHL in scoring. Do you think your standards might be set a tad high?

Kid is smart but he doesn’t have the tools
Imo. Most prospects bust. I believe Willander and EP have the highest floors and seem like a safe bet. Of

19 yrs old, 6 foot 190 lbs and will add to that frame. The scout quote on EP gives credit to his agility.

Full disclosure, I have not watched more than a couple highlights from this kid, that said, it’s like the Kuzmenko situation, you have to be able to play defence along with your offensive abilities. Obviously with this kid being left off the US WJC squad he must have some defensive warts. Which can be taught with development and time. Still seems like a great pick though.

He is a third round pick 19 years old. Much like Forsling he has things to work on. I swear some expectations on here are unrealistic.

Just because the USA had the 8 best ranked D prospects on their team USA does not mean that there are not others that are close.

Yes, for sure, develop him properly and see what he turns out to be. Bieksa was a 5th round pick and didn’t make his NHL debut until he was 24 years old. He still had an 800 game NHL career.

It's only his draft +1 season. Lots of time to clean up his D play.

Just noticed this, Alex Edler only had two 40+ point seasons as a Canuck, Kevin Bieksa had three…who knew.

He was a good pick but he is a long shot. That’s the nature of drafting outside the top 20 picks.

Works for me. Crouse has been inconsistent but the right tool kit we need.
