To be fair about him I’m genuinely interested to see how he closes out the season. If he keeps up his recent pace okay sweet, a solid signing for top 6 grit, if this is his peak that only lasts a short period of time, I won’t see it the same way.

Over half the season to watch to find out tho so I’m liking he’s climbing upwards 👍

All comes back to same outcome for me ...these 4 guys are getting the type of money that ensures that they'll have to carry the team themselves.

So take what comes with that. They have no right to complain about a lack of depth, defence or goaltending.

And Treliving can't push the false narrative about "there is no Core4". You choose to pay the big 4 this way ...fine. But the balance of the roster is necessarily sacrificed. There is a Core4 ..it's all about them and you've set it up that way.

It is what it is. They might win ..they might not. Those 4 guys will be hero's or zero's every year here on out.
