I'm OK with it (not thrilled) with a depleted lineup I expected the Knights to hang 4 on them in regulation. - glove_was_stuck
Swayman played well. Will be interesting to see how many games he gets while Ullmark is out.
Speaking of Swayman, any guesses on what his extension is going to look like? Are we looking at a Tuukka style contract around 7m per? |

I was fine with it except OT. Pasta and Marchy should both be taken out back behind the shed...inexcusable. It was clear Sway was not happy with the level of effort on that final rush. He's not going to throw anyone under the bus but that was a sequence that can hurt the room...disgusting! |

Bruins have 2 OT wins versus 8 OT losses. (not including shootout)
They absolutely suck in OT and that will bite them badly in post-season since there won't be any shootouts.

Yeah they suck at 3v3 which does not happen in the playoffs…
It was a solid game last night but that final play was about as easy a goal you can give up. I don't know why Mcavoy isn't starting every OT. |

True, so if I'm a team playing the Bruins in an OT playoff game I'm pulling my goalie cause they suck at that too. |

Granted Lindholm did nothing really to do anything against the 2 on 1 rush, that was all on Marchy and Pasta. Given how that rush unfolded, there was no way Sway had any chance whatsoever. Hung completely out to dry.

Well if we are to believe Jimmy Murphy, Zacha is out of the lineup and looking like a healthy scratch. |

Zacha game time due to illness. And it looks Ullmark escaped serious injury (imaging was fine) and is day to day but was on the ice today. |

Marchy is going to get career point 900 tonight. Will it be an assist or will it be a goal? Welcome to St. Louis Bruins, now get the (frank) out! Ha ha. Any other night I’m rooting for the Bruins. Not against my Blues though!!

Glad he wasn't seriously injured. And I hope the illness isn't serious. That stuff will probably put the rest of the NHL squad out here and there as they pass it around the room. |

Well we'll take it but that was a trip in OT. |

Yes, that was a trip.
But was that really interference on Lindholm? That play happens min 20 times a game.
We all know that the refereeing this year has been sub-standard…but whatever calls they make, call them consistent throughout the whole game. |

I think Thomas was selling that a bit. Oh well. Bruins owned the Blues in that game and probably deserved to win in regulation. Blues had what, under 20 shots going into overtime. You shouldn’t win with under 20 shots unless you are Edmonton. |

If a bruin hit thomas over the head with a baseball bat bruin fans would say he faked it. |

Good solid win, granted against a very depleted Devils team, but still good particularly first home game after a long road trip. |

Lohrei showed some pretty decent puck moving skills during that game. His game is coming along and it's going to be a logjam once Carlo and Forbert are healthy. Can't send Wotherspoon down as he will get snatched in a heartbeat. Should be perfect for a 7th d-man. Trade Gryz and keep Lohrei up and swap Lohrei and Wotherspoon in and out of the lineup. |

I would also be ok with shopping Wotherspoon if he can fetch something at the deadline. He has been playing pretty good. Wouldn't trade him unless its going to fetch an overpayment.
Lohrei has been learning very quickly. I know he will likely get sent down once the blueline gets healthy, but he has shown great improvement. He will be a full timer nexxt year for sure. |

Should seriously consider this and soon. Constant diminishing return.
