Maybe hire Kalen DeBoer who took the Washington Huskies to the college football National Title game and maybe try and draft Michael Fenix Jr. and dump Geno would be a good start.
- DariusKnight

I sincerely doubt Fenix will have much of an NFL career given his injury history. As for coach, if i was a Hawks fan id want someone with NFL experience. But since im not, bring them both on!

Corey Perry eligible to sign with NHL teams after meeting with Gary Bettman

Cue the speculation.
He’d fit a need for Van if signed to a 1 yr/min contract…I’d still steer clear tho.

- dbot

Interesting. Not sure about team chemistry. RT probably likes him.

Point still stands, Penix already had two major leg surgeries. The big boys will put the kid out.

Tough game tonight, Penguins sit just 1 point out of the 2nd eastern conference wild card and 2 points out of the first wild card. With a powerhouse tandem in Crosby and Malkin I am expecting a hard match up for the Canucks.

Hopefully, Pettersson breaks out of his slump tonight.

I'd love for the Canucks to mortgage the future to acquire either Crosby or Malkin. That would be savage.

not sure if that would go over well, think of the cap % that would cost..

I would have agreed a few years ago, now I look at guys like Guentzel or Rackell to bolster forwards.

Or younger, not sure what they want for Zegras but if we could swing Kuzmenko for him I’d be excited

Rakell at a low price would be worth a flier.

I wanted Joe Thornton for our 2011 cup run. If they are going to try to make a run, I'd love to get an aging star to push them over the top. I'm sure there are some other great targets, but the Pittsburgh connection suggests these guys would be bought into the Tochett plan.

Hard to find one available. Seems all the teams with them are bunched up fighting for playoff spots to the end of season.

Thus, only a few teams could be sellers by TDL. So is Taransko an aging Star?

Good rental target. Kuzmenko and a pick.

When’s the last time he was healthy? Seems like a dud these days.

Most of the season he has played 34 games. Not killing it on Sens but they aren’t doing well.

Reliable I suppose, with a cup. Not saying Canucks should trade for him just going with the suggestion of adding an aging star.

I’d want Sens to give us a pick. Kuz has term to get them more points next season lol.

This kid is an absolute fawking cancer - steer clear at all costs. Kuz looks like a Selke candidate compared to that little puke. Hopefully RT & co. know that if they've watched a millisecond of tape on him.

I wouldn't give up as much as Max Sasson for that POS

I like it.
Go big with the current core locked up.
Get a vet that knows how to win.
Crosby is a pipe dream, but I’d settle for Malkin lol. Or another vet like Claude Giroux
Tarasenko is essentially a more injury prone Kuzmenko. Pass.
