Pass on Malkin đź‘Ž
- Nighthawk

Foh.
Malkin would be the ballsiest big dawg move.
A big ol centre with Stanley cup pedigree.
Signed for a reasonable amount this year and next.

I’d mortgage the farm for him.

I like it.
Go big with the current core locked up.
Get a vet that knows how to win.
Crosby is a pipe dream, but I’d settle for Malkin lol. Or another vet like Claude Giroux
Tarasenko is essentially a more injury prone Kuzmenko. Pass.

It’s a stupid idea. I don’t think the Pens acquired the boat anchor EK so they could rebuild. The 🛀 🧂 endemic never ends around here. They will continue to “compete” until Crosby hangs them up. Same situation as WAS although the Pens aren’t a complete lost cause (with the exception of employing EK)

Also, let’s assume that you aren’t on bath salts and Malkin is available. Why are you mortgaging the future for a 37 year old? He hasn’t held up like Crosby

It went really well the last time the Canucks brought in a big, high profile centre near the end of his career.

Well I just read Tortorella ripping that a$$hole SanFilippo for making up a bullpoop story on Hayes. There should be some type of punishment or punitive measures put on anyone that make unfounded remarks about someone else, especially when idiots believe anything and make death threats against a person or their family.

Good on Torts for publicly calling him out.

I’d look into Couture before Malkin. Even at that the cost would be crazy going all in. The way this season is going with the Canucks trending so highly it’ll be ballsy going for any stud vet to put us over the top. Gotta believe PA is thinking hard on a big move along with JR being closely involved.

Barry Pederson Mark Messier & Mats Sundin all for differing reasons were flops. Cliff Ronning on the other hand was a smoother move albeit he was on a different level. Personally idk of a C we could target. Maybe in time something will present itself. No rush

Shane Pinto sticks out for me. That said what the Sens need to stabilize the young core we don’t have to offer up.

Any other C’s we could target?

Wonder what it would take to get someone like Sean Monahan out of Montreal.

You guys are reaching. None of these trades seem like an upgrade. If you are going to trade and give up assets then make it worth while. Most of these proposals are grasping at air.

Thought on him plenty. He’s on a cheap contract so might take our 1st. Habs no need to shop him for less given his value he gives them.
