They need to put some immediate focus on upgrading the forward positions to help what we have now……before we squander years of their current (and potential last) deals with the team.

We’re goi g to need a lot more than Dach and Newhook, that’s for sure.

I know there’s a lot of love for Cole on here and Hab fandom but I’m not loving what I’m seeing. 7 even strength goals in 40 games. Diminutive and easily knocked around. Becoming more of a concern as time passes.

I said that many times in here, I still think its the post operation to his shoulder and missing half the season last year

his main weapon is his shot

it will come back in time but it might take another season to see him return to where he was and where he can be

I’ll be patient with him because we know that he can do it. I think the chicken is right about the post-op regression. Anderson said it took him 2 years to get back to 100% so he can miss the net more now.

There’s a ton of focus on D and everything seems to be stagnating around it. The D even leads the league from goals/points from defense.

I just think this rebuild needs to be a bit more balanced so it doesn’t feel like you’re going around in circles.

MBs albatross contracts aren’t helping either.

This is my hope as well. But we shall see how it unfolds. Right now I am concerned. Hopefully it will be for nothing in the end.
