Next up the Sabres, although they may presently be out of the wild card spot by 7pts, they should not be taken lightly. They still have some very talented players such as Thompson and Dahlin, happy to hear Skinner is out injured. These are the types of games we have seen Vancouver struggle with, I really hope that trend is over and while I am hoping and rooting for a Canucks win, I'm certainly not "expecting" one.

Good to see the boys hang on for the win. Man that Crosby kid just keeps on rolling. Petey is gonna get paid big time. Some Stupidity by Miller out there hopefully Tocchet has a little 'chat'. Demko pretty solid. On to the next...

EP40 keeps rolling. The pouty moniker sure has disappeared.
Keep the good vibes going.
Onto the next.
Oh. And thanks NyN - dbot
Asked directly if he believes Pettersson wants to stay with the Canucks, Allvin said: “I do believe that he wants to be a part of a good team. He wants to be part of a winning team, and I do know that he has a good relationship with Toc (coach Rick Tocchet) and he really appreciates the changes and the direction the team is going.”

Love SAN Pan.
Sadly we’re off today.
Back to Comox.
Hopefully skiing next weekend.
Enjoy the sun. - dbot
When we first started looking around, our realtor took us to San Poncho. Showed us a neighborhood with 3 or 4 Kelowna people living in it. That was enough not to look there.
It’s really grown into a very nice town, the hike from Sayulita through the jungle is a great trip. Ending with cervesas and nachos on the beach.
Sorry to hear you’re back to reality, I’ll make sure I visit your favourite beach bar for a marg at sunset.
I keep hearing Petey wants to part of a winning team. No one is saying he wants to be a long term Canuck. It is not a reason to panic but it is not a reason to think he wants to be here either.
Until it is on paper nothing is definite. I think it will get done but again if his team is asking for the moon then maybe PA says no. Wait and see and don't let it be a distraction.

People hear/read what they want to hear/see. I agree, we hear he wants to be with a winner. That's it. I know the Canucks are winning now but they sucked Mexican stray dog balls for years before that. One year of winning doesn't necessarily translate into a long term extension. We'll see.

Exactly. He is a RFA not a UFA also so even if he did want out they have time to get the best deal. He does not have trade protection so he can't pull a Kesler.
I do think he will be a Canuck and it is mostly posturing but again Petey can be a little flakey.

Everyone who isnt winning wants to win. Half the players in the league must want trades I guess.
Media asks dumb set up questions and you are damned if you do or don't answer them. Narrative would be he is content with losing and is a cancer if he said otherwise.
QH said he is sick of losing. Miller expressed how unhappy he was in multiple ways.
Petey never said anything that suggests he didnt want to win with the Canucks. It's a nothing story that some people won't let go.
