Call them out! Public shaming is a great learning tool.

I had to add an edit as their record is pretty good. I just expected more from them in the games I’ve watched.

He's so great and would get my vote to replace Peart if Rush ever toured again...

Saw the Tool show in Calgary Oct 27 they are sooooo bloody solid live. So glad I went and didn't miss it as I was gonna pass as we just saw Maiden in September.

Kelly Hrudey needs to get off the booze. I call myself bloated, but Kelly’s living it.

Speaking of Hrudey my GF and I were having this convo the other day and his face looks puffy...think he's had some work done?

New Mastodon going in now so bloody good.

lol I'd bet it was Cammie Granato.

Let's also not forget the massive rallying crys around here to get rid of Hughes for Dahlin...

- LordHumungous

I mean. Dahlin made a lot of sense. Still does tbh.
Hughes has been a godsend and surpassed almost anyone’s expectations.

Avalanche playing like crap lately. Wonder what’s up?

Edit: their record doesn’t show it but the games I’ve watched, they just don’t look like the powerhouse I thought they were.

- bloatedmosquito

They don't have one of these

I think Hughes is better at everything but physical play.

I don't remember people talking trade one for the other but there were a few that wanted to trade away QH for a few seasons.

Power Trip was the 3rd time I saw Tool live. It's always mind blowing.

I don’t really listen to Mastodon but I’ve read about their musicianship. Solid musicians.

Yeah. Hughes is obviously playing better atm.
With a better team built around him.

The way I remember it, fans were hoping for the top pick to take Dahlin.
Hughes somehow fell to us when Mtl and Phx went off the board and Detroit inexplicably passed on their hometown kid.

I think his size was the biggest deterrent for some hockey people. Old school still believes that size trumps all. I’m guilty of it.

Yup.
Same.

Hughes really worked on the defensive side of things.
Credit where credit is due.

I swear, as soon as I make a derogatory comment about a team or player, they turn it immediately around. 3 - 2 now.
