Definitely a classic, hard to believe it's 37 years old.
- A_SteamingLombardi

I had an IROC back in the day & t-tops off & cranked up doing 120-180kph on the Coq or north of there. Softened it up after with the Travelin Wilburys & CCR mixed in amongst many others. CBC radio most of the way didn’t cut it lol

I miss Napster 😂

It's so hilarious how bad some people are at evaluating talent. He'd clearly be a much better winger than centre

But that isnt outrageous. He's a forward and still in a development league. QH has developed into a elite defenceman and someone above BB's head was meddling and potentially could have completely (frank)ed this up.

- boonerbuck

I think the meddling’s been going on for a long time.

He can't just walk if he's under contract without it turning into a law suit I think. But he could say not happening.... fire me if you can't live with that. Bruce said no multiple times... about all you can do.

Rutherford to LeBrun: “I think as we speak, if we were able to add another top-six forward, that would give us a better chance, and you know, we’ll watch the defense as we go along here. But you know, for the most part our defense has done a pretty good job.”

Wait, all your posts saying Rutherford/PA would never put up worth ownership meddling like Benning did and now you are saying obviously FA is meddling.

Typical lefty.

I doubt it was FA myself. If it was, it was through management and that would be worse than the stories under Benning.... actually calling in moves for the coach and them following through with it....

You are shameless.

You're probably right because BB wouldn't rat on his hockey brethren.

Rutherford: Well, it would be hard for Kuzmenko to score at the pace he scored last year, his shooting percentage was high (27.3 percent) and things like that. But with that being said, I believe he’s a 30-goal scorer. He’s feeling the pressure this year. But he’s working hard on his game, and I believe the last few weeks he’s doing a good job.

Allvin: "We are always looking to improve our team. The players will dictate what direction we're going here and if the players are buying in and playing the right way, I'm definitely open to support them and provide them with an opportunity to make a push."

I just like to blame stuff on him because he’s an idiot. It was probably Weisbrod or one of the assistant coaches. Or Benning LOL!

Yes, and this place floats on fiction and narratives typically.

In all seriousness, I don't see a scenario where FA calls up Bruce personally and multiple times tells him to convert players to other positions. I don't see this management group putting up with that for one minute let alone multiple times either. I also think they wouldnt push that on Bruce for FA. Not unless they felt the same.

Maybe I'm wrong and it's like Lefty is suggesting... this management are FA cucks but he's wrong more than he's right that's for sure.

That doesnt fit what Bruce is saying. Go read again... this happened around the time Bruce was fired last season. Weisbrod and Benning were the season before. Also, no assistant coach can try and "make" the head coach do anything. All he can do is suggest something.
