He’s also the best player. Not everyone loved Gretz, Lafluer, Roy or a great long list of elite stars. But they also were very, very good at what they do. Petey is pretty dam good at what he does.

He doesn't want out, he just wants to play hockey and win this year, he has a contract. At the same time he wishes everyone would STFU and enjoy the process the organization is going through, enjoy the winning after 10 years of losing so much.
