well I think we had a fine example tonight at the Bell of a team who is taking forever to become a legit contender despite having potentially the 2 best players in the league. the oilers had so many high draft picks over the years that the NHL had to step in and change the rules, and they haven't won yet lol.

oh man, a lot of habs fans here tend to almost panic every time they find there's an issue with coaching, players, management, etc..., imagine if they cheered for the laffs lol.

I don't know how Beaulieu is fairing over there but I'm guessing they probably complement each other well, Reinbacher being the solid stay-at-home guy while Beaulieu takes risks trying to make poop happen.

I'm not saying he doesn't have any offensive abilities either lol...

take a guy like Markov for example, yes he could move the puck and make crisp passes but he was always very responsible in his own end, hence why you could pair him with a guy like Subban, who wasn't necessarily defense-minded.


besides, it would suck pretty badly if he "stayed at home" during a powerplay, waiting in his own zone in case something happens
