I’m calling this now. Ersson gets the shutout and scores a goal. - Hextall271
I thought the boys would get shut out and lose 3-0 (1 empty netter)- already exceeding my expectations. |

This team is fun, probably playing above their level. However, are the young guys just elevating- so maybe elevating the level of the team? And Briere actually added to the team because his hand was forced. |

… and then ride his stick around like tiger Williams. - Hextall271
Hahaha that would be epic!

That’s why I’m not all doom and gloom that they’re doing well. They’re not a contender but they are succeeding with lots of kids contributing or at least getting big minutes to develop. Ersson brink foerster Zamula and some younger guys like sanheim and tk taking the next step. Don’t add at the deadline and ship out guys if you can but see where the chips lie. If they win this, they’re 2 pts back of the rangers. It won’t last but we’re in the second half of the season. That’s absurd. |

I hear you. When I saw Coots and Drysdale out, I figured we'd be in big trouble. Plenty of game to go but great so far

Only person that would be able to stop him is torts. He wouldn’t like that. |

Shatkinson with 2! I’m going to keep calling him that. Maybe it’s the remedy for his goal
Scoring drought. - Hextall271
Eons since he has produced! If he get a upswing, flyers can get the scoring depth they desperately need down the stretch. |

Canadian feed just showed Reggie leach who’s at the game. Also mentioned that they think the flyers are the most popular road team outside the original 6. Tons of flyers fans at this one which is no surprise Big Manitoba c connection. 👍 |

They showed him on our broadcast too. 306 goals in 606 games with the Flyers is ridiculous.

I don’t understand the Hathaway dislike by some fans on this board. Like, the guy has balls and he pretty much goes balls out every shift. |

Ersson unreal tonight. - Hextall271
I don't know if anyone has said it or wants to say it but I'm going to say it. Right now, Ersson is better than Hart.

I like him. He has the least amount of skill I could tolerate from a forward but he brings everything else so he’s a solid 4th liner in my book |

I would agree. Kind of hard to label Ersson as a backup. |

Yea, I don't get it either. Not every player can be a speedy finesse player, so what's wrong with a guy who busts it every game. You need to have a few physical players in hockey...it's part of the game.

I find it hard for the organiztion to want to give Hart a multi yr extension at 6 million or more. It just does not make sense from a cap standpoint for me, based on results from the two.

RIP Glen Cochrane. Loved him as a kid and can still visualize him in the "pants." He was one tough dude. |

He has decent speed too…and now that we have Drysdale all we need is a Clampett and we’ll have all the characters from The Beverly Hillbillies. |
