Perhaps they look at it as rewarding UPL for his good play not a negative against Levi.

Levi was/is awful at times. The Sabres have/had the cap space.

Hellebyuck + An actual serious upgrade at D and a middle six FWD to help the scoring regression and were a serious team.

Completely fair, especially if the D upgrade was to a guy who could lessen our high danger shots against per game. I'm not sold a goalie alone would do it, no matter who, but we are close enough that a few upgrades would've likely put us into Detroit's situation rather than our current one.

Dahlin is a refined athletic freak with no actual talent. He’s just highly skilled. If he was talented, he would be Makar. That’s the difference. Makar is athletically gifted and talented. Dahlin is athletically gifted and not talented.
