Frost was 1C tonight, although Laughton was on PP1 (despite Frost having 3 PP points during the five-game PP streak, which would have been 6 after tonight if Foerster hit the net from prime range).

Laughton was 1C on Saturday in Winnipeg, 2C tonight.

- bmeltzer

Laughton is a tad closer to being a 1C, than ND is to being a hockey player. Duse is a black hole

Does he need to play with top line talent to play like he did last night? Do you think he would have done as well if he was on the second line?

Not being an ass to you like I normally am, seriously asking.

- WhiskeyMan

Frost is not going to go 1 on 5 ala Mcdavid, but when he plays with people who can receive a pass he looks better. Without them, that same dipsy do and pass just carroms into the corner. He is playing the same just not as noticeable.

Seeler, you dont get good value for him and you keep him, get that salary close enough that it can be buried in the AHL. If can get a 2nd pull the trigger, a 3rd, depends the team.

I guess you don't understand that a 3rd line scoring center is not a marginal NHL player. A quality team that hopes to contend for the Cup better have 3 scoring lines and for that, you need a 3C that can put up some points. Frost has been getting better and better on faceoffs. and this puck management issue, is a figment of your imagination.

He is also going to the front of the net when he doesn't have the puck. I am seeing more of that..either for the deflection, screen or rebound. His positioning in the o-zone is very good.

I have been vocal about ND, but last night he played one of his best games, still needs to sit, just be fair to him.

Deslauriers is an anchor for this team. He can't play. The Flyers need to clean up their cap and stop overpaying for players that can't play or are not difference makers. Some of it is not on the current regime but some if it is.

I'm not disagreeing with your statement, but if this is true, then that is all we need to know about ND.....

I think the Flyers as a team played really well last night. I have to say that other then Thomas and Parayko. The Blues were a very unimpressive bunch. They were sloppy with the puck. Their passing was awful.

Hayes getting about 13 minutes a night for the Blues.

Chuck F, thank you for the Claude G trade, enjoying Tippett, looking forward to the 1st pick in 2024 and that Barkey fella seems to be pretty good too.

Skating around the perimeter lol. He did look like he had some jump last night though. Issue is you don’t see it enough and when he uses it, was it last game he got caught on that 2 on 1 just gliding

I was bouncing between football and Flyers but i did happen to catch Tippet's goal. That's a grown man play if I've ever seen one.
