yeah, it's one thing to be tired of Trudeau, which I completely understand, but to think Poilièvre is actually a better option is something else... I'm not looking forward to those elections. - Pat1993
I'll probably vote Bloc Québecois at the federal election.
Even when I think I won't, some idiot from the ROC usually ends up saying something insulting about Québec during the election that fires up my nationalist feeling and that's what I end up doing. |

perhaps it's the only "good" thing I see about Poilièvre, at least from a nationalistic point of view, it would be a good reason for Quebecers to reconsider becoming independent lol. |

There's also the wave of being tired of Trudeau, which applies to some people who won't vote for Polièvre but will weaken his opposition. - Scabeh
Trudeau should never have been elected. never. period.
that is as embarrassing as Trump south of the border.

Liberals have been in power 95% of the time since the begining of the dominion.
We live in a soft dictatorship.
I'll be voting BQ |

I wonder if there's something Pat and Fido agree with.
Donuts maybe? They're pretty good right? |

The same party has been in power for most of the time. Basically like having a kingship or dictatorship.
Liberals have been in power for like 140 years out of 157. (or something like that).
There's a group of powerful men driving the behind the scenes and using Trudeau like a puppet.
That's just a simple fact... not a conspiracy

he's done better than whatever it sounds like you're hearing.
we always have to remember that there's 2 sides to every story and they're both wrong because people are bumholes. the truth is always somewhere in the middle. - kicksave856
He is OK.
I think he has done the things that (always) need to be done.
But they are not sexy things. They are not things most people realize had to be done and how much better things are because they were done. And his people are terrible at messaging on those benefits.
The other side is too busy making people angry, creating fake culture wars, driving a message that inflames the base. It is not passive, like the democrats messaging.
That is pretty much how we got here.

With Fleury, Elvis and other goaltenders probably entering the market, is the hope of trading Jake Allen this season completely dead? |

you will need to use the last "salary retained" slot to do so IMO |

Elvis' contract will likely keep people away at the TDL... maybe in the off-season. Fleurry has full control and will only go (if he wants to go) where he wants.
The most interesting one (if he can stay healthy) is Markstrom, even with the big contract for a few more years.
I think the interest in Allen is minimal, but a place like Colorado or LA, that need a veteran back-up who won't ruffle any feathers, is a possibility... but the Habs likely have to take a contract back that does not expire at the end of this season.

More likely they take back a contract, use salary retention slot to get additional assets at the TDL.
Also, that would mean retaining salary for 2 years (this and next), we are already doing that for Petry.
