obviously you want more wins, I'm not saying this is a sound strategy or whatever and I wasn't expecting them to be in (although it's my bold prediction lol), just saying there's a small chance they make them.
- Pat1993

Everyone (well, almost everyone) has a chance - I mean the difference between 14th and 24th is currently 4 points (and I know some teams have played more / less games).

The standings and extra points were created to make it seem closer than they are.

Like I said, good for them to try hanging in, but I think they fall (significantly) short (especially if they are lucky enough to be significant sellers at the deadline).

Perhaps a different conversation without all the injuries.

I know what you mean but it isn't just an illusion, things are actually pretty close in the standings lol

At this point in the season, I don't think he could. There's a time limit to sign a contract and join the season no?

I was also under the impression there were rules concerning this kind of situation but I haven't heard of any, just that apparently he's been doing a lot of skating...

funny how you don't hear him a whole lot when they're doing well lol

Winning 2 games after dropping turds against teams like the Sharks doesn't mean much.

Edit: and they are still only 4 pts ahead of last year. But hey, they climbed 2 spots year over year in the Wild Card Race! WOOOHOOO!

to you it doesn't, that's fine. good teams lose/win against bad teams all the time.

I find it's kind of sad if you can't see anything positive in wins but see a whole bunch of negative in losing.

tks Karine!
a win is a win. tks to Monty, once again really solid.
happy for Roy, he'll know what to work on when he'll return to Laval.
Guhle on the right side really fixes a lot of problems.

He is playing better, winning a lot of puck battles, goes to the net. He still needs to work on his shot though, he has a great one but he takes a long time to let it go. He needs to prioritize this in the coming months.

again, that depends on your interpretation of things, I don't see the fact that they went to OT so often as being a negative.
- Pat1993

Also, the others teams have access to that point too, dont they ?
