If you can get an upgrade anywhere in your line up, does not matter where, you do it.

Or you sit and wait for years and then end up with a panic move that gets you Gomez or Drouin or Dvorak move that sets your whole team back.

- Mashadar

if the deal makes sense and improves your team in the long run, I agree, 100%.

congrats to you as well btw, didn't know you got a new job too
- Pat1993

Yeah, got tired of doing 2 jobs / 70+ hours a week just because they would not backfill my old job. Now those bastards can have someone else do 3 jobs and 90+ hours a week.

You know, I am on the fence about that guy. I think his rep is greater than he is...
- Mashadar

I feel like you can teach him to play responsible hockey.

You can't teach the skillset he has. If the price makes sense, I'd do it.

Will you be less grumpy now?

Maybe even consider Montembeault as a #1 goaltender?!?

I get what you are saying, but if you change his mindset, maybe you take away the only part of his game that was special. I just do not feel like he has the skill (or the will) to be a complete player.

All about the flash.

But paid 35 I'm guessing?

Probably not in healthcare. We work like maniacs when we're not on hockeybuzz.com.

Meant, a 200 foot player, good defensively, too.

And I think his entry contract is over (or almost), so it would be a big ticket contract on someone I am nto sure is better than Suzuki or Dach (at least, when not injured).

I know, just saying at 22 his numbers aren't something to scoff at.

anyway I'm very intrigued to see what Hughes has in plan for the TDL and the off-season.

yep, works 2-3 h every morning, then has nothing to do for the rest of the day.
and they are 2 in his dpmt btw lol
try to take an appointment, you'll have to wait 18 months. but the work just doesn't get to them. efficency at its best.

there are a lot of improvements to be made but I still find our healthcare system makes more sense than a private one like in 'Murica for example.

then again you think Trudeau is almost as bad as Trump, so this is pointless lol.

Yeah, I am finding myself more interested in what the Front Office will be doing over the next few months, than the product on the ice.

Probably based on my feeling like things are beign doen right for the first time since Sam Pollock was around.

I don't expect much from the TDL. Monahan but that's about it. the real action will be at the draft imo.
