I gotcha but players mature sooner or later & wanna settle in. We’ll see.
4-5/4m my offer to start it off. - Nighthawk
The problem with Zaradov, is after a while he figures he should be playing higher up the lineup |

I lived in Kits for many years, 5th and Yew, while my wife went to UBC. Vancouver has so much more to offer than Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg etc…….

I lived at 3rd and McDonald for a bit in 90/91. The company I worked for had 2 houses on my block and another a street over. Easiest commute ever....

Some UFA’s are all about the money only. Smarter ones look for a fit & a winner. Tax advantage states only so many players get the chance so ignoring those states Bancouver is pretty nice lifestyle but costly but they can afford it & their investment will still always be good.
Canadian market passion & pretty mild winters all considering it’s just that 4-5mths of winter grey sky that isn’t great. I know I survived it lol |

He’ll have to earn it here it won’t be given. Comes down to how much he wants to be here or not. If or when we have a legit 2nd pair RHD he’d be ok as the #4 D not a #3D as of yet maybe never. |

Agree he’s so good, he’ll get 8+. Price is going up for great D.
 - K-man25
Say if he is making 7.5M if the cap next season is at 87.5M (cap hit is 8.57%)
If cap goes up 2M per year. Cap hits
Year 1 7.5
Year 2 7.67
Year 3 7.84
Year 4 8
Year 5 8.18
Losing out on 700k a year half way through an 8 year deal.
Long term deals are difficult. |

Nice. Left for K town July 90, prices for houses were too deep for my pockets by then. |

My best job ever as an apprentice Steamfitter was a summer gig at Molsons on Burrard. 1/2hr lunch a 5min walk to Kits some tits n ass then 5 back. Shift ended at 3:15 then off for free beer til 4:30-5 then home & wait for dinner. Molson also handed out 4doz beer monthly. Rinse & repeat. Heaven |

It's Steve Yzermans fault. Zadorov thinks he is Ben Chariot. Yzerman gave Chariot a million too much per year. |

Job ended after installing a 2nd bottle washer from Edmonton. If not I’d be a beer lush & have a dlckdo like Lefty. Better than sitting on my ass being all impotent & all. 😂 |

I saw that a good half hour ago and I came to post it but got distracted.
NYI should look at firing Lou than anyone else. |

Ha maybe.
They are a mediocre franchise from top to bottom. Results show it. Getting rid of Lou and doing a front office rebuild like Canucks did should have been step 1. |

This could be the start of the removal of Lou. Roy always wanted a GM job so maybe a year or two behind the bench and then Lou retires.

On this if Lindholm who is a great add imo. I’d move Kuzmenko in a separate deal for a pick(s). A package for Lindholm comes next. Idk what he wants next contract but anyone who knows chime in. He’s at a good age if could resign him & fit him into the cap it sets up a good longish run for cups.
On the Leafs fire Shanahan & probably Keefe. The former needs to go. He & Dubas built the roster & it ain’t working. The latter I never liked & his airs are insufferable. Handed a potent offence & done nothing with it to get them to play the right way. |

Going to be very interesting to follow Roy and what has been such a defensive team.

Didn't they refuse to do that with Trotz? Just another Lou mistake. Move to POHO and hire a GM like Rutherford did. |
