I mean, who does lol.

I would guess their fans do

I mean, the Flyers are doing pretty good now so I would not count Roy and the Isles out just yet

yeah I know, they might not have a star-studded lineup but they do have a well enough rounded team to make a serious push.

you guys seem to think Roy had the luxury to be picky here.
I' not too sure about that. imo he took the first offer to come his way.
perso if I had a choice between going to OTT or NYI... easy choice for the Sens.
good luck to him anyway, that will be fun to watch

(frank) yeah

but if he had actually landed in Ottawa I would've simply drawned the line between his career as a player and as a coach, hoping that things just implode between him and that ugly (frank)face of a captain they have.

how fuuucking old is that guy?

I wonder if Roy had that in mind when he took the coaching job

he may think he can do more than just coaching in there, something he could not do in Colorado with Sakic over there as the GM

you mean that Roy figured "bah, he's probably gonna die pretty soon anyway..."?

he's 81 but I wouldn't bet that old fart will go gentle into that good night anytime soon, probably gonna stick around till he's 100 lol.

Ottawa has been a god damn circus at times this season, so I dont know

something is off with that team, their rebuild is not taken off at all

perso no I do not think. doesn't mean I am right. I just find it very strange that he did not receive an offer from OTT. or from TOR for that matter lol

if it hadn't been such a roller coaster ride so far for the new ownership in Ottawa perhaps they would've entertained the idea, but with all the poop that went down they surely figured Roy's CHaracter could potentially still be a bit too unpredictable.

Roy in Toronto, that would've been (frank)ed up lol.
