I would think Beane has some say in this, they basically are joined at the hip. Funny how Bill said he would rather coach a Small Market Team. - Buff36
and I imagine he’d love a team already on the edge of being championship caliber...
wonder if he’d worry about becoming unliked in NE, or if he’d like to show Kraft he’s still the man. |

I firmly believe Belichick enjoys being disliked or even hated. He is an arrogant, self absorbed, d-bag. He would welcome the chance to beat the Patriots whenever possible. He is driven by ego and he wants that wins record that Shula has. His decision will come down to what team will get him that record the fastest |

I don't. He sucks. Took over a team that had 23 year old Matt Duchene, 21yo Landeskog, 22yo ROR, rookie MacKinnon, got an amazing season out of Varlamov, made the playoffs in year 1, lost in the 1st round. Missed the next two before getting sh¡tcanned. How he squandered all that talent is insane. Plus he's Torts without the talent, or heart. |

Agree with this.
>>> @JeremyWGR That McDermott constructed the offense he wanted and it was finally on display Sunday: safe passes to running backs and tight ends, 6 o-lineman 25% of the snaps, ground and pound, control TOP. Margin for error was too small and his defense failed for the 4th consecutive season.

Totally, and you could see how the game was shifting in the 3rd Qtr and he didn't do anything to shift with it.
Think McDermott is a good 1at half Coach, but he puckers up in the 2nd Half and tries to control the reins to much. Don't hold Josh back, unleash him after the 1st half he had. |

Agree with it or not, it’s true. I’m just trying to figure out if McDermott is Tony Dungy 2.0 or Norv Turner 2.0 and the answer isn’t what I’m hoping. |

Interesting - Buff36
Those PO loses are not on Josh by any means...he has been on fire. By sticking with a running game when the Chief's obviously adjusted, Sean effectively neutered the O unnecessarily. |

Yep, McDermott Puckers when the Heat turns up. And his Defense, everyone knew he was gonna go after Klein with Kelce, Reid even admitted it. He should have thrown some fake looks at Mahomes like Klein was covering him but then drop Douglas and a Safety over the top on him. But nope Klein got all F@cked up and never got the deep help he needed. Andy even said the Bills finally adjusted, but hey after 2 TD's is a bit late. |

∆ This.
When KC adjusted to stopping the run, did that open up more down field patterns? Normally it does.
If so, Kincaid, Shakir and Diggs should be open down 10-15 yards or so. Get Josh rolling out to hold the LB's close to the line and unleash him on those throws.
Ahhhh well.
Go Sabres? |

Does a strong finish indicate anything for this group?
They are anemic, winning and losing have become irrelevant. No one, including themselves have any idea who they are, what they play for, and why.
The front office has destroyed its own 5 year plan in 6 months. The first half of 2023 destroyed anything Adams had going for him, it needs to restart from the top or this floating situation is going to continue and the Sabres will be a bottom team for the forseable future.
