Not worried about a lot of underperforming, long term players here tbh. My concern mostly rests with the guys behind the bench giving orders. But there's no need to further go into that. They suck and need a change, partially because of what you saw in Anaheim, and partially for how they treated the Kings.

The Kings are among the worst teams in the league since like Christmas. A better staff brings that brand of play 3/4 games. Ya know, excluding the first period.

Really should have started this last season and Offseason, maybe even before that.

Pains me to say this, but I think Dahlin needs a Partner and mentor just as much as Power does. How much better at this point would he be if they would have gotten Dahlin his Tallinder.
They have a lot of talent up front, they need to add some complimentary pieces to go with them.
And they need a Hammer or 2- Yakov Trenin or Joshua Dakota should be on the radar.
Fix the Team in Front and I believe we can Win with Goaltending we have.

It’s barely worth mentioning the playoffs unless the Sabres can string together five or six wins in a row. But it does feel like the Sabres have a lot to play for down the stretch. For starters, if players want to show how they feel about Granato, they’ll need a lot more games like the one they played against the Kings and a lot fewer like the one they played against the Ducks. The Sabres managed to come back and beat the Kings, but they once again fell behind early. In the first period, they have now allowed an NHL-high 60 goals and have scored only 33 for 29th in the NHL. They have also allowed two or more goals in 21 of their 48 games this season. With the win against the Kings, they are 3-17-1 in those games. If they want to show their coach they have his back, the Sabres need to play an inspired game from the drop of the puck more consistently.

Have to see where Power gets to, but the trajectory is certainly down. Toews is a monster, agreed, but hopefully we can coach these kids up...one day.
