The defense has let Sorokin down this year, but both Sorokin and Igor on the Rangers have not been at their best this year.

Terrible period. They got away with a bunch and Sorokin made a few good saves. Obviously, that 2nd goal was his fault.

This team still plays lackadaisical as hell. I know Dallas is no slouch but you come out, get a quick goal, get the crowd behind you and then whiff on a few easy chances, play out of position and let them skate unimpeded. Really unconscionable.

The combination of the forwards inability to finish and a couple of big miscues by the defense and Sorokin...and voila....

This is still a very fragile team. Patrick will help, I'm sure. Islanders have Barzal, Bo, Dobson, and Sorkin in terms of high-end talent. The secondary talent is the issue.
