Curious as to what his injury was. If I'm not mistaken, he was hurt after blocking a shot. Maybe a broken foot? That said, this seems pretty long term, so maybe more ankle or even a different injury all together.

Yeah, scrolled through the Twitterverse and that’s exactly what it was. Such a weird injury because it looks like something that happens a thousand times in a season. Broken foot could be it.

Barzal said earlier in the year he wanted to be a bit more like one of his heroes, Pavel Datsyuk. So he refocused on trying to create more defensive turnovers this year. This whole series leading to Bo's goal was a great example of that
