I've got nothing but fond memories of Step. Sure he was a little slow, but he was a hell of a play maker and gave us fans some great moments. Goodrow on the other hand....

- NYR11

Do I wish he was better? Probably, but given he was 2nd round pick with skating issue, he did pretty well. And because he wore a PARTIAL shield in playoff games does not make him soft.

You guys are looney toons. TJ compared them bc they both wore shields. Stepan played the game softer than soft. Saying he’s tough bc he played with an injury doesn’t make him a “tough player”. He played through an injury like 99.9% of athletes do, pain killers are a hell of a drug. That doesn’t mean he played the game “tough”. Continue trying to twist words and start arguments.

I had it in my back pocket and since you brought up JT Miller and Nam AGAIN (like we get it the trade sucked),I figured I’d release it. It worked because you look like an arrogant doosh like usual

Stepan and goodrow are not soft. Nether have ever been, and neither will ever be. But Goodrow just sucks at playing hockey and 90% of the fan base would like him to not be a Ranger anymore. If you do sobeit and congrats, but he is in fact killing the on ice product with the master intangibles he brings. He has 3 goals in the last calendar year. I can appreciate the man for playing while missing a bone in his face, but that literally has nothing to with him being the worst player on the team

He “led” us right into the dumpster last year having a 2-0 series lead and they blew it. He is here to prevent that from happening, nice job Bark. You can’t even do that right

What about Stinky? Stinky and Nam were very close.

And forgive my pleas for wanting Drury to find a taker for him as all I want to do is win a Stanley cup. His salary WILL prevent that from happening. Just find one of 15 god damn teams to take his contract is all I’m asking

No one wants to fight Stepan, but the usual few are twisting words to start arguments that don’t exist.
- nyrangers9479

I just have a question. Do you think you can beat up Derek Stepan? I must know
- picklerick

I’d say I have a pretty good chance
- nyrangers9479

Yep, people sure are twisting your words.
Try again, Champ.

If you want Tarasenko, Gotta trade Goodrow.

If you want a combo of players like: Duclair, Monahan, Henrique, or another D man(thin market there). Gotta trade Goodrow.

That's the only move they can make and keep this team together.

We have to be willing to attach a first is the only way. But at least you’ll get better players THIS YEAR doing it is my whole point. We can in fact survive without a first rd pick once. Besides the only guarantee about that pick is me and you will be fighting about who they should’ve taken instead

I literally can’t anymore. I need a ban. Fighting this battle is making me the most bonkers I’ve ever been

I really do think Vancouver would have interest in him this year. Intangibles. I’m not sure, but I don’t think they have anyone on their roster that has won a cup. Maybe Ian Cole? But not many and then they’d buy him out most likely

Kakko Goodrow and a first for Kuz helps us this year and next. I’m an idiot tho 🤷🏻‍♂️ his value isn’t great either (although he did have two apples last night). But he isn’t getting along with Tocchet so I heard. I find it difficult to believe Vancouver wouldn’t at least think about that trade. They could ship the first we gave them for now help also

This is where you on disagree. In theory, Goodrow traded is a yes. Destination is unknown. I'd think they trade to re-sign a guy like Lafferty than trade for Goodrow.

I do a like a deal like Goodrow, a 1st and lesser prospect for a guy like Novak.

You wouldn’t want Kuzmenko you mean?

Only reason I brought them up yesterday is because there are reports on a few places they’ll be making a trade. And I think they’re looking to dump Kuzmenko in said trade

Kakko and goodrow almost equal Kuz too. (Which is the best part) 242k difference

Last year, yes. This year, idk. Maybe he's just having a down year.

I do like you're idea though.

Something like Goodrow, a 1st, Berard, and maybe Fortescue for Novak and Lauzon. That's something I could get behind. Nashville has a lot of money coming off the books next year.

i believe anything can happen in hockey. And front offices. We’ve seen some real out there space cadet hockey decisions come to pass every year. These guys don’t think like we do.

A teams mouth is watering out there for Goodrow somewhere, I can feel it

I see RW listed as his position

This would suffice as SOMETHING Drury could do. Probably wouldn’t play til next year tho right?
