KHL season ends early, FWIW. Usually around end of February. - eichiefs9
That's not the problem, it's the transfer rules. Maybe they updated it, but I know the NHL made it hard for player coming from Russia to enter the league. |

What's the mystery?
You were asked whether you thought you could beat up Derek Stepan and you answered affirmatively. Further, rather than attempting to clarify, you doubled down on your stupidity. My comprehension seems just fine. If you meant something different, you had ample opportunity to say so.

The whole point is, and why I even brought Stepan up, he’s a hypocrite. He loves goodrow for doing the exact same thing a player he hates did…who did it in the playoffs no less. What I did was 100% intentional and it worked like a charm. It’s fair to say niether player is soft, but he’s convinced the one who did it in the playoffs is in fact soft. You literally can’t make it up how hypocritical that is. He’s also a narcissist because he’s never been wrong his entire life |

Affirmatively is saying, “I think I’d have a pretty good chance”.
Wouldn’t affirmatively be, “there’s no doubt, I’d crush him”.
Just to clarify here, we can also look up the word affirmatively incase one of us is wrong here |

Personally I’d admit I was a hypocrite and narcissist and just move on. But you wont because you’re incapable of such things |

Stepan playing with a face shield doesn’t make him tough. He wasn’t a tough hockey player. I don’t think a single person when asked to describe Derek Stepan would use the word tough, but suddenly he’s become Bob Probert. |

You don't need to be a tough style player to be a tough athlete. You probably don't even need to be genuinely tough to take on a keyboard warrior. |

Try twisting this:
Any ATHLETE who plays one of the roughest sports going for 25+ years, making his way through the various leagues and plays 13 years in the top league in the world has above average toughness, regardless of his style of play. There would be exceptions, of course. But, the guy retired less than a year ago after keeping himself in game shape for decades.
I would need a peak at your bio to be sure, but I'd give you a less than 3% chance of not ending up out cold with shit in your diaper after having a go at Stepan. - Tonybere
If this theoretical fight is on ice wearing skates, then we would ALL get our butts kicked. Maintaining balance and leverage is key.
If this is a fight in a bar, then I think I would have a 10% chance at sending Stepan out on a stretcher. Either way, when said fight is over --- I'm buying him a whiskey....... |

I'll never understand fans that have undying allegiances to bad hockey players. Goodrow has done very little as a Ranger. Certainly less then Stepan. Like Buch vs Blais. Never get it, never will. |

I don’t understand the keyboard warrior thing. I never said I wanted to fight Stepan. Someone asked a question, I answered. |

I’m not saying, nor never have, that Goodrow is untouchable or that in no circumstance should we trade him. With that being said, I think his 30+ pt average over the first 2 seasons is a better indicator of who he is than the dismal pace he’s going at right now. He hasn’t been good, there’s no denying that. But do I think attaching a 1st round pick to get rid of him is worth it? No I don’t. If we could free up his cap for a 7th round pick I’d be on board. |
