Ok dude, the point on trades is to get stronger. Youre trading a starting RW for a starting RW, its about as lateral a move as you can make. We need RWs, we shouldnt be trading them.

Maybe drury trades goodrow somewhere else but it’s not going to be a cap strapped contender taking him on. The sweetener to move him is gonna suck too. This season more than ever it looks grim on the trade front due to the injury situation screwing us.

I really worry about Chytil's mental status coming back. Doubly so in the playoffs when play gets more physical, harder, better, faster, stronger...

If we dont have a backup plan for Chytil in the event that he cant handle it, we could be royally screwed.

I think strategy wise, the best course of action would be to get a 3C and move Chytil to LW. This way IF Chytil cant maintain a consistent level of play or hes just not ready or god forbid he takes another hit, that were not relying on him at center since were deep at LW.

Id put him on the 3rd and either move Cuylle to 4LW or to one of the vacant RW spots. I think Cuylle is far more agreeable to playing his off wing than Chytil.

A more extreme option is to put Chytil at 1LW and sort of insulate him around our best guys, while bumping Kreider down to 3LW.

I have never wanted to trade a first rd pick as I do this year. It’s time. Why you ask? Because I want a damn Stanley cup. You all want to wait to til Schneider is really good. When that happens, BTW, Panarin will gone so it’ll be even harder to do that. It’s one of the more ridiculous takes I’ve ever seen

Not a single person here will disagree with you that we need to score more goals, its the way in which you go about these trades thats ridiculous. Without fail, theres always a new flavor of the week with you. Theres no balance within the trades, its all or nothing. Here is Kuzmenko, the new flavor of the week. A guy who is a goalscorer and plays no defense traded for a guy who scores a few goals and plays very good defense. Theres no net gain, he will score more goals and we will give up more goals.. the infamous giveth and taketh away.

Kuz had almost 40 last year with 1RW ice time. He’s not getting it there, you know where he’ll get…here, in NYC
