One of the Muskoka 5 wasn't he?

And that dude wouldn't shoot the GD puck if it was running away with his wallet.

That’s Stanley Cup champ, Tomas Kaberle to you.

I'd clone the Markov and Yuschevich (sp?) pairing..or McCabe and Kaberle.
- systemtool

Oh (frank). Those two were great, same with kabs.

Is there even a modern day Yushchevich?
I cant think of anyone

Speaking about one of the all time Derp Donkeys.......

I'll save you the clicking to go read it but Spatso sure has some classics, the fact he was a Leafs fan growing up and jumped ship to be a Sens fan tells me all I need to know. lol

This is just pure Derp followed up by west coast derp.

Speaking of Muskoka, McDavid's wedding this coming summer will be in Muskoka. I guess he couldn't find an appropriate venue near Edmonton.

Thanks for this, I've been keeping Spatso's blog alive - posting the odd gem. Maybe its time that "I'm only here to talk hockey" and " Golfing since 1970 (or infinity) " got their own blogs to post their non-trolling gems.

Some nice spots up there for sure, long ago I did a canoe trip on the Nahanni with my older brother, it was spectacular. Not the spot for room service though.

The difference is that we limit our stupidity to our own thread.

I don't care if someone is here and legitimately wants to discuss hockey. You don't have to love the Leafs. There are enough Leaf fans that are frustrated enough with the team that you could call into question whether or not they love _this_ iteration of the Leafs.

If you can make a solid case as to why a guy who is top-10 in takeaways (7) blocks (2), individual HD chances generated, individual expected goals, 5v5 points - and is on pace for 70 goals in 81 games - the last time an NHL player exceeded 70 goals was 1992-93 (Selanne and Mogilny both had 76) - a year in which 5 players exceeded 60 goals in one year - if you can make a case as to why that guy isn't in the conversation for MVP - go for it.

I would say that at the halfway mark MacKinnon is the front-runner, but in that mix are Pastrnak, Kucherov, Matthews, Rienhart - hell you could make a case for both of Hughes and Makar. Any year that Connor McDavid is playing should consider him. So yeah. Pretending Matthews isn't in that conversation or a legitimate MVP candidate is preposterous.

No man.
Unlike fans of all the other Canadian hockey teams, who have the leafs living rent free in their spacious echo'e heads. Most leafs fans dont spend one minute thinking about other Canadian nhl teams.

Its either grrr willie (from one or two) which brings out the grrr marners and then in the middle of that i toss in some grr keefe.which leads to a few grrr shanny and the odd grrr fake.
That can be topped off with a little grrr Tre, but its just a light springle.....its his first year afterall.

We simply have no time for grr cafacks or any other team.
But as always, thanks for thinking of the leafs!
Got it?

Leafs
Cups - 13
Last Cup 1967 - 57 years ago

Canucks
Cups - 0
Last Cup - Never (54 years and counting)

Your fan base obsession with all things Toronto continues eh. That’s not an inferiority complex at all there boys.

Every so often I read your area (and other teams) - Leafs mentioned almost every time (daily). I can say I very rarely read anything about other teams on Leafs board. They don’t care at all about you guys. You’re irrelevant. Good team this year, playing well, doing damage - but still irrelevant.

…I reposted this in this area - I figured you may it. I think you had a dinner date.

Great Slave is better. Used to go down to the lake in the old town in Yellowknife and watch the sun dip down into one part of the lake and then come an hour or two later in another spot

Never been there but have been on the Yukon River which is milder. I used to work in Yellowknife, Hay River and out in the bush in the summers way back when. From Peace River originally.

You must admit many people are easily triggered in this post and their are a lot of idiotic opinions that are spewed like gospel. So it makes this thread an easy target.
