They love him. He's been here 30 years ffs.
I'd like to see someone else manage the transition in the next tv/streaming deal as I think new ideas could help but, as you said, from the owner point of view, they must have very little complaints. - Scabeh
A lot of those old guys that put him in place are gone (or dead). That is another reason i think change could occur more easily, there is less loyalty/investment towards him.
Time will tell, but the league needs something new to grow revenues, other than ticket price increases.
Don't think Bettemen and co are those guys.
Time will tell.

And to make it even for everyone, the also cancelled Cancer for Kids night, Military night, etc... etc... etc... They would raise money in auction from player warm-up jerseys / stick tape / etc... in special colours or recognizing the events.
And more importantly, have a larger raising of awareness of each issue... now they muted all that, too.
Now it is officially NHL policy that "you can talk about it, but without talking about it".

Yes.
I think the Isles win this for the coach, but it will be a close game.

11-1 for the Isles and the Habs trade their goalie after pulling him when it gets to 10.

they just needed to plug that hole, really
why use a top centre in Laval just so he can play 6 mins per games in montreal? and no they dont have somebody better than evans in Laval
at this point Laval is more important than montreal for the rest of the season
thats why Roy went back there already, for Laval playoffs push
If you don't like it now just wait to see mtl line up once they trade Monahan. I dont think Newhook is ready, so things will get much more ugly. |
