Video is a good starting place. Someone who saw the video told police he recognized two of the men in it. What I don’t think they have, or at least had a year ago, is a victim who has come forward.

The Leafs have a lot more issues than Florida did last year. The Leafs issues are also consistent year to year. They aren’t all of a sudden going to light things up.

It’s all about money. It was way more fun when there was around 20 teams. Now, if a different team wins every year, it will be 31 years before your team wins. It just ensures that many many teams will go decades without even competing. Can’t be a recipe for success in the long run!!

Utah is also a potential destination for the Coyotes. They are supposed to provide an update to the league on their arena plans this week or next. Announcement is also a “we’re not kidding” message to the Yotes ownership

From the report of the London assault there was an adult "chaperoning" the kids at that bar. He was footing the bill for the drinks that girl had and reportedly gave her one or two shots and told her to "take good care" of the player she was originally paired with. I think by most accounts she was fine with it being a one night thing with a guy but not expecting what happened.

Who was that guy? Presumably an agent - or at least working for an agency.

But these are the ones who give these kids permission to misbehave. They are the David Frosts of the hockey world, but you're right - they exist in all professional sports with young athletes who stand to bring in large sums of money.
