I highly doubt Jarome or Tij want to see him in Calgary, especially since Jarome was never really a Calgary guy. He played hockey for the Flames, but I don't think he ever lived here full-time.

There's way too much of a shadow and pressure here. Jarome working for the Flames doesn't help either. They both probably want him to stand on his own. Maybe his second team can be Calgary.

The only way I see it happening is if he's clearly the best player and only option when it's their pick.

Maybe Lindholm yo the Avs wont happen after all since they signed Parise for the rest of the year.

How do you know this? Jerome’s role with the Flames is pretty much non existent right now. There was a trade to get Tij back to Kelowna where he’s closer to home and could live at home. Maybe the best scenario for the Iginla family is living together to start his career.

Dubois with that cap hit playing on the 3rd line in LA has zero value. Lindy has way more value as a rental right now. lol

Dubois just forced his way to LA. No way he agrees to play in Calgary.

Now that we are at the All Star break, it was a great game. I feel more offense against a bottom dweller team should have happened but Mrazek was just as good as Marky. What do yall think Conny should do? Who should he sign? Trade? A few teams out there interested in Flames UFA.

I’d listen to offers on any player that’s played over 1 season. Obviously that’s not going to happen, but the untouchables are few and far between. If Conroy is smart about this he can change this roster over the next few years and maybe do a retool like Dallas. Getting prospects that are already close to making the NHL or players in the start of their careers is the way to go imo. Flames got to hit a couple home runs in the draft this year, a later round pick like Lipinski.

Completely agree the next 5-6 weeks are pivitol.
If Conny's player evaluations line up with other teams, he can hit a home run and set this team up nicely for the new arena. Young quality players and picks over quantity should be his priority with an eye on defence and center.
If Lindy, Hani and Tanny aren't re signing they MUST be moved!
If Marky is open to a trade and the return is fair move him.
