4 goals in 4 minutes…to end the 1rst….game over.
- landros 2

Yep that spells night night to all chances and hopes
Is ersson imploding now? That would be flyers luck.
Luckily if we continue to lose we can land in that sweet 11-15 OA draft spot! Yay!

It speaks to the overall dysfunction of this franchise. That’s my point, not that he would refuse to play with Hart.
- FloHaake

How does what Hart did in junior hockey speak to the overall dysfunction of the franchise?

Dysfunctional to tell a kid that they wont guarantee him a spot in the NHL unless he earns it?

How could they?

So what if he did? Why does it matter to him what an 18 year old did…. 6 years ago?
- landros 2

He was 20. And will be treated as an adult by the court.

Any chance CG knew some stuff about the poop storm about to come down with Carter Hart?
- FloHaake

Oliver Stone? Why does EVERYTHING have to be connected? Maybe Lindros knew too, maybe that's why Bobby Clarke retired....

There are situations where events/incidents affect one another, but when someone's mind has to forcefully come up with a reason to create more drama for self serving needs...that's a sickness.

When the information comes out about Hart then discuss it. Speculating does nothing.

That’s what happens in here a lot: obtuseness.

I’m not saying that. This organization is not run well and hasn’t been for a long time.

Konecny is a fine player but he isn't close to the player that Pasternak is. Bruins are in cruise control now but they abused the Flyers defense below the goal line when the game was still on the line.

Im not being obtuse, I am being very specific. They told him that if he didn't play well and earn a spot in the lineup he could be sent to Lehigh. He didn't like this and decided to take his puck and go home.

Not what I’m saying, but ok. But for a completely unprecedented event (Lindros was not the same), what else do we have but speculation? Not about the situation involving hockey Canada, Carter Harts involvement, whatever, I’m talking speculate on why a player for virtually the first time ever told a NHL team GFY.

Gauthier was perfectly willing to sign with the Flyers in March of 23 at the tail end of the NHL season. Then in May of 23, he was no longer willing to play for the Flyers. Did he figure out the Flyers were dysfunctional between March and May of 23?

Because one over inflated ego didn’t want to play here? There is a long list of franchise’s that are a hell of a lot worse than the Flyers as far as dysfunction. Frankly I could care less about the player. They’ve moved on. Weird I’ve heard very few players knock this organization over their treatment while they were here. Was there some issues since Snider died? Some for sure….but this organization at least recognizes mistakes and addresses them.

Sounds like The Flyers don’t know how to handle the newer generation of talent. That spells out with their rosters the last 10 years. I don’t know, just spitballing.

It's not remotely close to being the first time ever. It seems to me that you don't have a grasp on any of the known facts, including that aspect.

Any chance Cutter and his advisors were looking big picture. Medical misadventures. Player development issues. A succession of old school coaches giving youth the hook and not letting them work through mistakes while vets get a long leash.

There’s a few, yep, which is why I said “virtually”.

I wouldn’t say the other situations involve players at such a high talent level, with such a high upside. Was Kevin Hayes a top ten pick? Adam Fox?

So Anaheim is the model NHL Franchise? If looking on a few search engines and can’t seem to find the innovative breakthroughs the Ducks have employed to be juggernauts.
The flyers have their warts for sure and not always been smart about how they do things.
Dysfunctional is not the word I would use to describe them. DB is his own man and I’ll critique him on his performance as GM not by the flyers recent past history.
I was 6 when the flyers won their first cup and didn’t really grasp the concept.
As much as I want to see the flyers win a cup sooner than later I am not going to be some scorned fan who thinks I know so much better how to win than those running the show.

He was drafted in June of 2022 and then in March of 23, 8 plus months later, was willing to sign with the Flyers. Then in a couple of months had an epiphany that the Flyers were dysfunctional?

This is what I’m getting at. Thanks.

But a bridge too far of speculating for the Flyer faithful here.

There is more than just a few in NHL history. Drafting is not an exact science, Adam Fox is one of the top defensman in the NHL.

Speculating should be done using the known facts. Not picking poop out of the air. You seem to be full of insults while clearly not knowing anything.
