With TK making 8-9, Tippet 6+, Couturier <8, Sanhiem 6+ how are they going to fit 2-4 elite talents under the cap

Until Michkov touches NA soil, I'm not counting on him. We need at least 2 more elite players. Top center and top wing/sniper. I'd love a firm #1 dman. Unless TK can get us an elite guy, we resign him.

You have to draft the guy. This year would be a great year to have a top pick because there’s a few top defenseman.

Nikishin would be a risky play. But konecny might be the key to get him. Nikishin and drysdale on your back end going forward has the makings of a solid blue line for years.

I’m probably missing someone but the point is, we’re set at right wing. Even if we dropped Atkinson, Hathaway and Allison tomorrow, we’re still pretty thin in other areas at forward. I would trade Konency if it made up stronger in other areas, especially center.

That’s football but to not take the points not just one game but all season long is unacceptable. Fans in Detroit think Dan Campbell is a genius. I think he’s a drunk who was able to take the stealing wheel because the last wasn’t sober enough. Campbell just had an easier ride (schedule) home.

What are the flyers looking for in a potential trade for Laughton? Just skimming through some of the teams he’s kind of perfect for the rangers. Is he even available? I thought I saw where he could be

I’m asking because I don’t like these rental prices, and we could really use a guy with term since Chytil could be done with hockey unfortunately

Some are going to overcharge and others will greatly undercharge just because...change, but it's also Flyers/Rangers and they can not trade with each other if the deal is even. Cost is ALWAYS higher with interdivision teams, but greater if a rival.

Honestly even if the Rags gave a good deal, not great, Flyers would have to pass.

Braun? Then Lindros, but that was trading damaged goods and even though they didn't get some superstar they got a pretty good haul for him. They did get Johnsson out of that trade which was huge and even though Brendl flopped he had a lot of talent.

There is no way I want the Flyers sending anyone to the Rags if that player can help them win a cup and still have to see that player the following year. Value of a player has to be made on his abilities, not his stats. I'd rather them keep Laughton than trade him for AHL scrap AND to a rival.

And Laughton would be a perfect addition to the Rags. They have their superstars and major point producers, defense and goaltenders...that extra leadership and versatility could help put them over the edge. I want no part helping the Rags get another cup before the Flyers.
