and the Habs can't afford for Monahan to get injured before he gets traded. They need to move him sooner than later.

They learned their lesson last year when Edmundson and Monahan got injured and could not be moved at the TDL.

wouldn't be surprised if it happens this weekend tbh. as you say, Habs want to trade him before he gets injured, and with Lindholm off the market he's the last option available so other GMs may hurry a bit.
