Hopefully he flips Z to the Leafs. He would immediately be one of the best "defenders" in the Leafs D core and he would sure as (frank) be the toughest.

Lindholm's been a very good 2nd line centre. 20+G 40A type of guy that plays both ends. A late first, an inconsistent winger and a developmental prospect is a good price. Pretty similar to what the Leafs paid for RoR.

Vanny got a great player. Tocchet will love having him. Sad to see him go

What is clear is that his decisions to eliminate certain players, along with a new coach, have utterly transformed the culture of the franchise. I was not referring to Vancouver, nor was I referring to Rutherford. If Rutherford wants to move Zadarov then I think many in here overrate him.

Their D is pretty stacked. If they moved Z, it was a Cap move for Lindholm not because he's over rated. Dealing from a strength to fix a weakness.
