I tried to watch but it wasn't even entertaining, in fact I deleted the recording as I had enough of the commentators trying to make this exciting and entertaining, it's pure crap.

Would take Tanev for like a 3rd rounder. But for anything more than that, no. I think the D they have and their depth is solid enough, picking up an extra 6/7 kind of player at the TDL is ideal. It all boils down to injuries in the long run.

Agree. Flames are going to fleece someone for Tanev. Only Top 4 RSD on market. Whatever Canucks get it won’t be a high profile player but a D for depth. Besides they don’t have the cap space and don’t want to subtract anyone else from their roster.

Was listening to some interviews and interesting insight on Millstien fighting hard for Kuzmenko investing a lot of time on him.

Seems like he has more Russians coming from KHL wanting to keep that pipeline open. So do Canucks. Maybe why they signed him to that extension instead of trading him last season. There were signs then he didn’t fit. Probably why they also worked so hard on trying to fix Kuz for team system.

Keeping good relations in the business is important. Sign of competent management and coaching for this 2024 Canucks. Gillis regime didn’t give any respect and Benning had none.

Anyway, Canucks could fill some more roster needs with developed Russian players on ELC contracts to get through the higher OEL cap buy out hits.
