is Gignac an important piece though for the Rocket, or with the players you mentioned he's more of a healthy scratch?
- Pat1993

He's their first scorer. I would say he's important for the Rocket, but he's 25 years old. He's a fast player, plays with grit...would fit nicely on a fourth line, but I think he's underrated skills wise.

He would never be a healthy scratch with the Rocket, he plays on the 1st line. I think he never really got a shot in the NHL (played only one game). It would be a nice story to give him that contract and a chance

I expect MTL to acquire a plug to play on the 4th line, also expect The Sherrif to be sent to Laval for the playoffs push

ouin pt

Do not disagree.

As other have stated, I'd hate to ruin Laval's chance at a playoff run by taking players from there and throwing them on the Habs, who won't make the playoffs.

It is gonna be painful.

Still think there is another shoe to drop before the Habs next game.

oh, well it sounds like I'd rather have him in Laval then, but I get what you're saying with the cool story, kind of like with RHP last year.

they can try to find a plug or to be more polite, bottom 6 center on the market, but you already know what will be the reaction of the fans in here after a trade like that

Ive see some interesting names that might be on the market (most likely in the off season) but if their teams do trade them, it would take a good offer from the Habs to get it done

"My buddy told me this was just a microdose of mushrooms... and he was lying," Buble said to a room filled with nervous laughter. "So, I'll be honest, I thought I was in Blades of Glory for most of the time that I was out there until it sort of settled down, and then I realized, 'Holy s---, I'm at the NHL All-Star Game.'"
