Allen
Savard
One of them gets traded, Habs have one salary retention slot left for this TDL. All 3 have one year left on their deal after this season.
Best return would be by far Savard but he is also the one I wouldn't mind keeping until next year TDL, he is serviceable and good mentor for the young D's.
Allen should be the one going, the menage a trois is not ideal but even with salary retained, you won't get much in return.

Need to keep Savard for this not to become a poop show and as mentor for the kids
Trade Allen for anything... to stop that 3 goalies non sense but mostly also give one roster spot more to try some kids at the end of the season

from a roster point of view, yes. From a rebuilding/asset point of view, Savard is healthy, has value (even more with 50% retained). Might be time to move him.
They need to find a home for Allen.
When will they start talking about buying out Gallagher...only a matter of time.

Allen will be traded. Either at the deadline or during the offseason.
I think Pearson might be the one to go at the deadline. With salary retained, he's the kind of guy someone will throw a 5th rounder for just for the veteran depth he provides.

let say they trade Savard now to team X.
team X will trade Savard at the tdl next year. what do you think they will get for Savard next year? let say a 2nd round pick.
that means Habs have to receive at least a 1st if they trade him now, if not might as well keep him till next season and trade him then.
can you imagine a team giving a first for Savard? ish, not sure.
he stays. plus they need him, badly. he is still their best RD.
Allen goes. for nothing.
