Gallagher buyout....summer 2025, he will have 2yrs left, 10.5M left to pay on a 13M cap hit (for 2yrs left).

Buyout cap hit would be:

2025-26 1.75M
26-27 4.25M
27-28 1.75M
28-29 1.75M

- Symba007

agreed, but you said they will talk about it, off course they wont ( not publically)

if they won't waive Allen because oh! we want to show respect to our vets.... how could they buy out Gally?!?
not that I'd be againts it, it's absolutely the move to make, but not sure HuGo will go there.

Habs season is over was my point, but Laval still could make the playoffs

seeing both teams sinking at the same time would be sad and I think wrong for Laval

we will see I guess

- deadpoulet

I think they will load up Laval in the next couple weeks, just enough time for Newhook to be back and figure out what will happen at the TDL. A bunch of guys will end up on waiver, Habs will pick up players to plug the hole they have. We have to be patient...a few more weeks.

he is slowing down quickly, by the end of next season, it will be an issue they need to resolve.

As soon as Newhook is back, I would expect Gignac to go back in Laval where he belongs. Its a two way deal anyway

I disagree

they will not keep Gignac in mtl just so he can play on the 4th line

Condotta can do that

otherwise they dont care about Laval missing the playoffs or not

The experience they will gain when they make the playoffs next year will be invaluable.

Not sure if anyone has watched the London Police Chief's statement with regards to the charges.

So far the NHL has lied, The Flames have lied, and now it appears to me that the London Police are lying to..

That does not surprise me... but I have not had a chance to see what was going on today to add anything in detail.

They started the investigations in June of 2018.

In February of 2019, it was determined that there wasn't enough evidence to lay charges,....9 months later.

And the alleged victim has been fully cooperating since June 2018.

Now there's evidence to warrant charges, that they couldn't find in 9 months.

Other than public and political pressure, I wonder what they found..

I'm not surprised they did not disclose evidence, as that has not even been fully given to the defence teams. I doubt we get that answer before the trial is over.... if ever.

At least it is finally moving forward.

Oh for sure.

Point is, how can you not find sufficient evidence in a 9 month investigation with a fully cooperating victim?

Then almost 5 years later it magically appears..
