This I can agree with, but I guess I got slapped down and then to boot he calls me names as usual. Must be a pretty insecure individual tapping on that keyboard in Mommies basement.

Johnny Hockey was just on the FAN590 and said it's always been his dream to play center for the Flyers - 2Real
That's not going to happen anytime soon. |

Incredible and rare. Ersson is the reason flyers are in front though, after that loose first period. - THE EVIL WITHIN
Ersson was phenomenal. His growth since his 1st few starts at the beginning of the season has been tremendous. The fact that he grew into basically a 1A/1B goalie tandem with Hart this season coupled with the fact that Hart will most likely never suit up in the NHL ever again may have had something to do with his mental as he's clearly the stand-alone starter for the Flyers at this time. |

Who woulda thunk they would pull out a win after that 1st period. - bird_dog_pa
They adjusted after the 1st. They were pressing and controlling a lot of the play in the 2nd period. |

They adjusted after the 1st. They were pressing and controlling a lot of the play in the 2nd period. - Pixote Andolini It really looked like it took them a period to get their legs underneath them. Nine days off is just too long of a break in season. They seemed to get a little better at the end of the first period and then much better from there. I also am concerned about the way Ersson would handle being the true #1 guy and tonight was certainly a step forward. |

I’m glad he rebounded. He hadn’t looked good in the 4 starts before the break but the whole team stank during that stretch. |

Frost stats... 1 shot on goal, zero hits and 2 giveaways! What's his excuse this time? I just don't think his game will EVER translate well to playoff hockey. - Phillywhiteout
21 shifts, 14:31 of ice time. More shifts than Laughton or Foerster, same number of shifts as Poehling, but the funny thing is I didn't notice him. It must be Tort's fault. |

looked Ok, took a dumb boarding penalty late in the game that could have cost them the win. |

The Flyers played a really good road game after the first 15 minutes of the game. This was a really good road win against a legitimate cup contender. Big 2 points! |

You criticize Frost regardless of what kind of game he has. Its proven that you have no credibility. You said the same thing after the Boston game. Poehling led all Flyers centers in ice time in the game. Tortorella continues to overplay Poehling.

The Flyers played a really good road game in the 2nd period. They were dominated in the first period. Came back and played really well in the 2nd and then hung on in the 3rd after getting an early goal. Ersson won the game for the Flyers.

A perfect 4th line grinder for the Flyguys. Hopefully that goal last night brings the Cates from last year back to life. Laughts' ice time diminishing by the game. That ain't gonna help his trade value.

He looked timid with the puck and had two bad giveaways. This is the Frost I would expect to see if this team makes the playoffs and this is why I wouldn't mind seeing him moved on for the right deal.

He wasn't timid. I don't think he had a very good game but he wasn't awful either. He didn't drive play or create opportunities for himself or his linemates last night. He can be better but it's just one game. You can expect to see what you want but until it's proven, it's just a unsupported expectation.
