They beat Carolina 2 nights ago which is another top team.
Remember when Hodgson scored against the Bruins in 2011-12? It was our Stanley Cup.
Hopefully they learn from tonight, move on and play harder. The playoffs are 2 months away. - golfingsince
Yeah, that's the best attitude to take. Tocchet seems to be able to get these guys to rebound quickly. I'm not worried about an extended losing streak or anything like that. I just hyped myself up thinking this was going to be a great matchup with playoff type energy.
Well, it did have 2011 playoff type energy. Yeah, I said it.

Thx but no thx for the history lesson.
Your golden boy disappeared tonight but he had plenty of company. Yes my ire will always be directed at the higher paid players on my team & others. 4-5/10.5m
Still haven’t seen your offer & don’t go to your go to about what PA or whatever he will do &/or offer. Lol - Nighthawk
I leave the contracts up to management compared to you who thinks 72 posts a thread about it will have some kind of influence.

You sure freak out a lot about what he is going to get paid for someone who trusts that management will do what is best. It looks like you have no faith when you fill up so many threads with fretting over his contract. - boonerbuck
Do you hear voices? Asking for a friend.
Spare the drama I’ve been clear on what his value his. Idc about this freak out bs you go on about. |

It's not just the team game it is the years and years of culture that they have that makes them the top organization in this league. - Reubenkincade
I’d say decades & decades 👍 |

If he keeps it up, you may get a nice return on him on the TDL... or keep him for some reason. He will score lots of goals.

You only come in here to complain. Not once have I seen you in here praising all the good that has happened this season. You proved it over and over, goof.
Funny how the kool aid comments make sense when the team is under achieving but you are in here trolling us with it when we are 1st oa 2/3 of the way into the season. You are a pos.

This strikes me as long suffering Canuck syndrome. This seasons wins are not masking a team softness from past years.
Take a deep breadth. It’s a disappointing game. However, this is not how the Canucks have played all season. - Quinn's Quest
That's what 54 seasons of mediocrity will do to a person.
An interesting thing about the playoffs is that successful teams have to have the ability to turn it on for important games. Flip that switch to go beastmode. Big gamers have big games. Tonight, hockey people were watching this matchup. Judging even. Management knew this, coaches and players too.
So how did the Canucks respond?

I don’t see them trading him this tdl gonna need him for that 1st round matchup vs the Canucks.
