That 2010 run was probably my favorite hockey experience. I was alive for the cup years but I was just a wee lad. I barely remember it anymore. - Dkos
Favourite runs for me were 87. 97 and 2010. I remember each vividly. Probably 97 and 2010 were most exciting to me as I was all in watching every minute of every game all season. Through all the madness and drama they put me through, I still love to watch them play and enjoy the wins even when they’re not contenders. |

That's just how easy it is to send you off the deep end. You make post after post about the history as your reasoning to why people not being satisfied and wanting a cup, are whiners. Then you post just a short time later that you don't care about the history! Then you call it semantics and post the incoherent unintelligible rant above and call me stupid! You give ammunition every single day that can be easily used. If you don't want it to backfire, choose your words more carefully. You obviously can't take it. - MJL STFU you clown!! Have you ever even been to a Flyers game? Have you been out of your basement in the last 4 years? Everything I said makes total sense you DB!! You just come from a different planet. No wonder you use the dumbass avatar that you use. Do you still have your Star Wars jammies? The facts, simple logistics fly right over your bald head!! Eh what? Thanks! |

Go back and read what you said and what he said last night. It was not even close you dimwit!! WTF! Like I said earlier, what planet are you from? The Flyers have a nice win last night and you're on here effing whining all day. LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~!!!!!!!!!!! - Phillywhiteout
Here is what Black Hand posted
https://www.hockeybuzz.co...p?thread_id=186542&page=7
"yeah, puck luck, you stooge....Forsling knocks the puck off his stick, it bounced off his leg right back his stick and he buried it....thepuck could have bounced any number of ways except off his leg back to his stick....thats puck luck and not a bad thing..."
Here is what I posted
"The shot which beat the goalie was not puck luck. That he actually got the puck back, after Forsling poke checked him and the puck would up back on his stick, is a little bit of puck luck."
Pretty much the same thoughts.
Then you posted in reply to my post
"This I can agree with, but I guess I got slapped down and then to boot he calls me names as usual. Must be a pretty insecure individual tapping on that keyboard in Mommies basement."

Right, no difference. Now examine how you contradicted yourself in that previous post. Yes, there is something wrong with always trying to win. The Flyers are the poster child for that. You always think the Flyers are on the right track. Trust me, they're not. - MJL
Ok, and let me guess, they are not on the right track because 1. Torts is the coach, 2. Jones is Tort's stooge, 3. Briere is manipulated by Jones and Torts and 4. Hilferty is an idiot because no team in the NHL has a triumphant.

It ranks much higher up for me. It's the most current and recent example of how Tortorella loves to overplay lower skilled grinders over certain type of players with a much higher talent and skill level. It's part of why the Flyers are going no where under Tortorella. - MJL
All I know is Torts took essentially the same team that failed under AV and Mike Yeo and finished a season with only 61 points, to now being firmly planted in a playoff spot, all the while developing its younger players and younger veterans to a point where they are big contributors to the team's success. Players like York, Zamula, Ersson, Tippet, TK and Farabee. But to you and your grand wisdom, this team is going no-where! |

Where is to Stanley Cup contention. My grand wisdom has been right about 98% of the time in our "debates". You'll never learn. Just like with Fletcher, when you said he put the team on the path to the Cup, then hours after the sun came up, you realized it came up. You then turned on Fletcher and started lecturing people like you knew it all along. It's going to be hysterical when you do the same thing and turn on Tortorella well after it becomes obvious. I'm going to laugh my ass off.

Black Hand and I said pretty much the same thing. I would say that you have to do better in response but then I realized you can't. You can only reply with your child mentality. Archives LOL, it was just last night! - MJL It's still archives. I certainly wouldn't waste my time to go back and look for it. The funny part is that you failed miserably in making your point. Oh, and now it's suddenly PRETTY MUCH the same thing as you slowly back away from your take when you know your wrong. Good job and thanks for stopping by! |

It wasn't a waste of time, it's proof that you're full of poop! Yep, pretty much the same thing. You were told that last night and now you're arguing like a fool when its in black and white. Please by all means, keep going! This is fun. Talk about a whiner!

I just love when you go back and do archives. I said that just to make you do it. I'm controlling every move you make and you don't even know it. His original post said that the goal was puck luck by Cates!! You said the shot that beat the goalie WAS NOT PUCK LUCK! And you also said that the bounce back to his stick was just a little luck. WTF is wrong with you? Those are nowhere near the same comments. Stop making a fool of yourself, but thanks for the entertainment!!!
- Phillywhiteout
my original comment was
good puck luck by cates
Never the said the goal was lucky.
My statement inferred the Defensive play by Forsling knocking the puckaway, but bouncing off of Cates' leg right back to his stick. that = puck luck. But you are too studpid to understand that and I had to spell it out for you. Then in your predicable, pathetic fashion start to pervert and distort what was said..
Like I said last night, youre trash and (frank) off |

I didn't complain about the win last night. Show me in the archives where I did? I'm not sure who is worse or who lives in a bigger fantasy world. You or jd250. LOL Nah, I'm not at all terrified that they're going to make the playoffs. Since I never said they wouldn't or that they won't. Tortorella has no chance of winning the Jack Adams. - MJL Well, I do know that JD lives in your head 24/7 and I can only hope to achieve those lofty goals as well! That is incorrect sir!! If Torts gets the Flyers in the playoffs without the services of Caaaaatah Haaaaat he will certainly be in the top 3 and very well may pull off the upset! Please make it happen!! |

Sure he does. LOL It's just daily entertainment, is all. Tortorella has no chance of winning the Jack Adams.

If anyone would like to discuss a culture of losing, I’m a Lions fan. They literally just had the most success they’ve ever had in their entire his in existence. - roenick97
I'll see your Lions and raise you a Raiders. You already won more playoff games this year than Raiders have the last 2 decades. |

I skipped a weekend camping trip with my best friends to watch Boston game 7 in 2010. Of course we won and played Montreal two days later. I never skipped anything with my friends in those young years. No regreat in my choice. |
