No, we don't fault you for not posting more. This franchise stinks. They aren't trending up, they aren't trending down, they aren't building, they aren't rebuilding. They just exist and they suck at it.
"Did you see our “Big Johnson” locker room veteran make a weak attempt at a shot block, and subsequently screening our tender instead of just getting a stick on the biscuit?"
I had a birds eye view of that block attempt. Dallas had been putting on pressure and when I saw Johnson go down for that slide I was thinking "Yes, love the dedication. This is what winners do", but they he kind of turned his back like it was beer league and he realized he has to work in the morning. On a real team he takes that one either on the wrist, in the junk or elsewhere. Misses the next 2-6 games but we go on to at least get a loser point.

Those players seem in an abundant enough supply league wide that it's infuriating the Sabres continue to be unable to identify and bring those players in. - kingcong39
The rub is as you described above.
No team is handing out quality role players with bargain bin prices.

I don't believe Girgensons is the type of difficult to play against that the Sabres need.
He hasn't been in years. - kingcong39
not everyone's favorite example but for most of his tenure, he's done well as a defensive specialist. I don't want to dwell on the specific player as much as the point im trying to make.

the sabres do not need bargain bin prices though
they have the assets to make a few quality trades to improve the roster construction but for some reason are either unwilling to pull the trigger or too stubborn to admit there is an issue with the roster

no.
The player's contracts are bargain bin. Not the trade cost.

Well, it was a GREAT day for America yesterday.
Another classic case of Biden and team doing exactly what they have accused Trump of...but unfortunately the two tiered justice system saved an old and incompetent man from being indicted because of age and senility.
Biden lies about what was in the report during his ill-fated victory lap...when the report expressly points out that there is evidence that he willfully obtained and shared Top Secret Documents stored all over his house, UPenn and his cottage without proper security measures....with a unregistered foreign agent (Hunter) having full access.
Now he wants four more years claiming he is not in mental decline and is fine ... If so, then why not bring charges against him? Double standard and two tierd system of justice.
Also, the Supreme Court is primed to either 8-1 or 9-0 overturn Colorado Election Interference by illegally removing his name from the Ballot. Gotta love the Party of Upholding Democracy is going to extreme measures to undemocratically remove his name from the Ballot...Election Interference at its best! Laughable if it wasn't such a disgrace. But at least 8 possibly 9 intelligent people will do the right thing.
Biden continues with pushing Bidenomics when Americans are hurting as a direct result of his policies....his 1st day Executive Orders to change America from being Energy Independent to a country dependent upon enemies for Energy. An ill- conceived plan to eliminate gas burning cars in favor of EV's which do more harm than good and just aren't practical for most uses. Joe touts Bidenomics, yet when compared to Trump Economic performance, he is way, way underwater on every single key metric. Yet they keep pushing "prices are coming down" when in fact, with the exception of gas prices, the prices aren't declining...rather just increasing at a slower rate ..yet the cumulative result is Biden Economy has increased basic costs for American by three-fold compared to Trump.
Don't get me started on the Southern Boarder that Biden single-handedly brought upon America with his 1st Day Executive Orders and simply refuses to reinstitute to curb this outrageous dereliction of duties. He can reverse it all himself the same way he caused it by himself.
Lies, lies and more lies.
What is the Over/Under Date for when Joe is removed from the ticket?
May 1st?

Call me Ishmael. Some years ago—never mind how long precisely—having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people’s hats off—then, I account it high time tozz get to sea as soon as I can. This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the ship. There is nothing surprising in this. If they but knew it, almost all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same feelings towards the ocean with me.
There now is your insular city of the Manhattoes, belted round by wharves as Indian isles by coral reefs—commerce surrounds it with her surf. Right and left, the streets take you waterward. Its extreme downtown is the battery, where that noble mole is washed by waves, and cooled by breezes, which a few hours previous were out of sight of land. Look at the crowds of water-gazers there.
Circumambulate the city of a dreamy Sabbath afternoon. Go from Corlears Hook to Coenties Slip, and from thence, by Whitehall, northward. What do you see?—Posted like silent sentinels all around the town, stand thousands upon thousands of mortal men fixed in ocean reveries. Some leaning against the spiles; some seated upon the pier-heads; some looking over the bulwarks of ships from China; some high aloft in the rigging, as if striving to get a still better seaward peep. But these are all landsmen; of week days pent up in lath and plaster— tied to counters, nailed to benches, clinched to desks. How then is this? Are the green fields gone? What do they here?
But look! here come more crowds, pacing straight for the water, and seemingly bound for a dive. Strange! Nothing will content them but the extremest limit of the land; loitering under the shady lee of yonder warehouses will not suffice. No. They must get just as nigh the water as they possibly can without falling in. And there they stand—miles of them—leagues. Inlanders all, they come from lanes and alleys, streets and avenues,— north, east, south, and west. Yet here they all unite. Tell me, does the magnetic virtue of the needles of the compasses of all those ships attract them thither?

Kevynomics rejects the historical reliance on any kind of tangible Murrancy and instead embraces human capital and empowerment the spirit of the proletariat via payment in a "want to be here" ethos rather than in a traditional monetary form. Kevyn is a communist, is what I'm saying

What kills me is a receiver just has to hit certain baseline stats and he's automatically in. Doesn't have to win anything, doesn't have to do something no one has done before, just numbers.
Tasker did things no one was doing at the time and no one does currently. That team doesn't win 4 straight AFC Championships without him.

I have seen all of the HOF inductees play and/or read about them. I am not in the weeds but on the surface they gave me a MEH feeling. Are there any real HOFers out there in any sport? Or are they the Hall of MEHers?
