No NHL player has to "work" for their money once the contract is signed... Very minimal "work". See Victor Oloffsson, Ville Leion, etc.

Trading Mittelstadt for a defenseman and acquiring a goalie are reasonable ideas that should have been done last offseason. Mittelstadt needed to go as soon as they locked down Cozens. It's just the reality that you're not paying your 3C $7m
