No clue. Have never heard him described as a leader. They don't give us much a of clue what happens behind closed doors.
I think it gets overblown. Make the playoffs next year and everyone will talk about how great a captain Dahlin is. Miss again and everyone will talk about how bad it is and they'll fire the front office.

You think management makes it to October next year opening face off?
Okposo on pace for 18 goals , smells of extension |

I don't expect a change, but we've seen Terry get impatient and pull the trigger sooner than we've expected before. Maybe Donnie is 50/50, needs a strong finish. Really curious which team shows up when the schedule starts to ramp up in a couple weeks.
I think Okposo is retiring, but I thought the same a year ago. I don't know why he's hanging on to be a 25 point 4th liner.
What do you think? |

Schedule ramped up to begin February.
Not getting a point or two out of the Dallas and St Louis games is unfortunate as I thought they played well enough to not come out of those two games with a goose egg.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings, a Penguins regulation loss is good for whatever faint playoff hopes we have left

Steve Wilks was fired because Purdy led three scoring drives to put his team ahead in the 4th quarter and they lost the game. Also gave him a lead in OT.
In the NFC Championship game they got torn to shreds and if it weren’t for the 49ers offence putting on a clinic the second half of that game they wouldn’t have even been playing in the Super Bowl.
Only Sean McDermott keeps his job when his playoff defence folds like a cheap suit |

I guess it ramped up a little, but mostly because it was at a 0 before the break. 4 game home stretch + 4 against mediocre teams. Not that tough.
End of the month: Car, @Fla, @TB, Veg. That's murder.

I agree, all I am saying is that a 4 game homestretch against Dallas (arguably best team in the Weat), St Louis (who had been on a heater), LA (still a playoff team at the moment) and then Florida tomorrow (arguably best team in the East) isn’t a cakewalk.

Probably underestimating it. Every home game is a tough game for them.
If you're still holding onto hope, March + April are brutal.

I think okposo is linked to both Donnie and Adams.
If he keeps playing 1st line minutes ,he can sniff 20 goals. Pp time too
That’s a really easy resigning in Kevynville
I’d say 85 points over under on the firing of Donnie
Couple games over fake .500 saves his job imo

They're 2/3 of the way through the season. 20 is a lot and I doubt he stays on the 1st line and PP. I expect to see the kids after the TDL.
78 point pace and the 3rd toughest schedule in the league remaining. Going to have to play well to hit 85. Agree that likely saves his job. Hope they see the need to make a change anyways.

So then Saint Fangio was fired for cause, good to know. And let's be honest, he was fired, just like Frazier was. |

And every year we talk about how the undersized forward should have went way higher. - Swedish_Jesus
You are hoping and praying that just one of the 5'9 crew end up like Marchand.
Just one having the impact he's had would be a miracle.
More than one would be borderline unbelievable. |

Bringing back a player that gets inflated minutes to a reduced role sounds very Sabres.
There is no way they can bring back essentially the same team and expect anything more than crickets at home games.
If you extend Casey and bring back Okposo, that's 11 of the same 12 forwards.
The roster change cannot be one forward and one defenseman.
Nobody will buy that.
You bringing back Zemgus again? |

I think Donnie is here unless there is something like a 10 game losing streak. Terry isn't paying him two years not to coach. Terry also isn't serious about building a top notch organization.

Fangio with half a defence also handed Mahomes his worst stat line of the entire playoffs.
He’s also built an extremely impressive staff in Philly,
Lucky them |

The only two undersized forwards we drafted were Benson and Savoie.
Benson would go 4th overall if we did a 2023 redraft tomorrow.
The Sabres drafting is the least of my concerns.
Use free agency and the trade market to acquire our supposed size deficiency
Meanwhile, this is the best the Sabres have looked at even strength in over a decade.
Fix the PP and we aren’t even worrying about the draft classes of the last few years. |

They aren't the only two.
Ostlund and Rosen are also undersized. |

And you with half a brain can pretend to be smart but much like the paper staff you talk about, we all know you are a paper tiger.
Brag about something in response, ignore me, take a dig, you’re pathetic. |
