Like I said, I hope it forces parents to become more involved in their kid's lives.

I get a feeling with all the media and screens out there now, families do not spend as much time together anymore, let alone talk.

I feel like I sleep in every day now... I use to start at my desk at 5AM for the longest time, now I am there between 8-8:30.

But I was working 2 jobs at the same time, so 5am to 7-8pm some nights.

8-4/9-5 is a joke, compared.

i feel like i'd go home and sleep for 3 hours if i got home at 2 or 3 but i guess my body would adjust. i did work nightcrew for a year or 2 as a kid working for supermarkets and that was weird at first. i'd come home and my father would be eating eggs with coffee for breakfast and i'd be eating chicken wings and fish sticks with hot sauce for dinner.

When I was in university, I use to work the overnight shift at a shipping company from 11PM to 7:30AM Sun - Thur, every summer.

That was a good job, once you got use to the hours.

it was at that job that i realized if you sit on a milk crate in aisle 7 and stare out the window long enough, you can actually see the sun come up. like see it move!

Heh, I was loading trucks and never got to see outside (except on lunch break).

Was much better to do that at night, when the containers were cold, than during the afternoon, when the hot sun would create a sauna and melt your face.... I sometimes pulled a double shift, and those afternoon ones were horrid.
