Saw it on the replay. The guy was already falling down and Blais was already going for the hit. If the player hadn’t fallen down it’s just another rubbing the player out. Just don’t see how that is a major. Bias aside I’d say the same if it was reversed and a blues player was on the receiving end of the hit.

Blais had time to readjust but still went for the hit, I'm not saying it was overly dirty and requires a lengthy suspension or anything but I find the call made sense.
