The only kid on D I see sticking is Ghule. He's been "ready" for a while.

I think both Matheson and Savard are there until kids prove they are better than them.
so not impossible Hughes will extend Savard and Matheson. depends on how the kids progress. if they do well, Hutson, Reinbacher, Mailloux, Struble...... yes Hughes could trade Savard and Matheson. otherwise they stay. imo
for now they have Guhle for the long run, that's about it.

Ghule had the C in junior and you can see why, he is more mature than the others

But Ghule is special I would say, the others are not the problem or anything like that

Savard ou Matheson ont de la valeur, même si ce n'est pas le même genre de défenseurs

mais mon point c'est que le CH en a de besoin pour entourer nos jeunes, c'est évident

de toute façon, le CH est en plein contrôle pour ces deux défenseurs, leurs contrats n'arrivent pas encore à échéance. Je m'attends à une très bonne valeur pour ces deux gars là l'an prochain aussi. Si ce n'est pas plus.

Excluding Savard and Matheson of course.

Kovacevic is a 6-7th and not getting any better.

Struble? meh
Harris? a 5-6 on an ok team and could be decent if paired to a very good D.

Barron? He can skate and shoot but needs lots more to become a regular. Not sure he's got that potential. Again, 5-6 pairing poetential.

I think Reinbacher will be good. Maybe even great.

As for the other kids, no clear top 4 as of now.
