Struble was definitely not having his best game today but I don't understand how you can say he's "meh" lol, he's been pretty damn good overall since he's joined the team but whatever.

He's been a good 7th D.

to be honest it would've been a nice option to just end the game 20 minutes ago if that was possible.

So that's 3 players lost in 2 games.

So I guess you can tell the Laval Rocket their playoffs hopes are pretty much over.

I wouldn't be mad if they called up whoever the (frank) from Trois-Rivières instead, and let key players for the Rocket play in Laval.

Imagine losing one of your first pair defenseman to an injury at the end of a 7-2 blowout. Just icing on the cake.

Marc Denis said the bench were completely losing it with the refs. That's on him, he has the responsiblity to reign his players in, and back into the game. I thought he would address that during the second intermission but apparently the players came back for the third still whining.

Also, he often looks discouraged behind the bench, facepalming, etc. Not the kind of energy the players can feed off from.

I was mostly referring to traumatized habs fans who tend to panic very quickly but in all seriousness I doubt he's on the hot seat, and he shouldn't be, he still has a learning curve in front of him as a head coach but the team's woes definitely don't fall completely on his shoulders. adding some coaching experience to the staff would be a logical move though.

I expect his approach to become more firm with the players as the rebuild continues and as he gains more coaching experience.

I get what you're saying about the body language but I doubt he has a very negative and defeatist vibe going on with the players on the bench and in the dressing room, and to be fair if there are any acceptable moments to be facepalming, it's games like today's lol.

He's pretty much a victim of upper management decisions this season. He surely hates that 3 goalies system, and they just traded away his 2nd line center.

The other 11 wouldn't care.

And maybe your GF would actually enjoy some of it...
