No .. not at all .. I don't hate the Chiefs, why should I? Mahomes is a great player. I'm just saying overall the game was boring and even at the end it was just was not thrilling for me, it was expected. So from an entertainment value perspective, it was low for me.

Don’t be so obvious in your trolling. It’s more effective to be subtle.

Agreed. I've been a huge pro wrestling fan, not lately though. Especially the NWA world wide wrestling era back in the 80's into the 90's. The Attitude era of the WWE. It's an art form.

I think Wrestling has had an uptick the past few years, at least for me. The athleticism and risk taking is off the charts for one, but I also like a lot of the characters. Even now when Roman Reigns makes an entrance and that music plays, I still get goose bumps. It's great theatre.

They didn't, and I thought a couple of the ball spots were off. Kelce did get the first down, the replay seemed to show it. It doesn't matter because they got it anyways, but I did think to myself that nobody can say the refs helped the Chiefs yesterday.
- TheFreak

Their were two spots that were at least a half yard off. They were pretty obvious live. The Chiefs wasted a timeout without challenging the first one. The refs elected not to review the second one in OT.

Dude, it was simple question. Why are you trolling? And who said that I hate those teams anyway?
- Phillywhiteout

LOL, it's not trolling and you absolutely do. Your responses when those teams are discussed betrays you. The simple answer to the question I posed in response gives you the answer in general.

I was on the edge of my seat in the 2nd half. The first half sucked but it turned out to be a really good Super Bowl.

Huh? As usual you are making my head spin with your caustic rhetoric. I've joined in on the Eagles discussion on here many times. In fact, I showed my knowledge in the sport quite well when I, in fact, didn't buy into their 10-1 record and suggested that they would come crashing back to earth at some point. I don't generally join in on the Sixas discussion cause I really don't follow or give a rat's arse about the NBA. And after all, this is a hockey themed thread, so what's your problem with that?

SF got a turnover on the opening drive of the second half in KC territory and proceeded to go three-and-out. The Chiefs scored a touchdown with their turnover. Then the Niners muffed an extra-point. That's the Super Bowl right there.

I didn't comment on your football knowledge. You're childishly making this into something it's not. What's your problem with people discussing the Sixers occasionally and how you go off the deep end when it happens?

The Chiefs defense stepped up big time. Stopping the Niners after that turnover and then holding them to a field goal after driving on the first OT possession.

Oh here we go again with the childish bull$hit!! I'm out! Not such thing as an adult discussion with you. Every time you are backed into a corner cause you look silly you resort to calling someone childish or tell them that they are embarrassing themselves. what are you talking about? When the hell did I go off the deep end when people discuss the Sixas? I just ignore it Mr. Sensitive Shoes. I'd love to stay, but that would keep me from going. I'm out!

LOL, I'm backed into a corner. I asked you a simple question and you threw a temper tantrum. You need to be put in timeout.

He's 21 years old! Look how much York has grown as a player since last season, and he is only going to get better. Look, will York or Drysdale ever be Hedman, Pietrangelo or even Makar? Of course not. But can both develop into a foundation of the defense for years to come? Absolutely. And do you really need a defenseman like Hedman or Makar to win a cup? I don't think you do.
- jd250

thats ot true.

look at the last say 15 cup winners. How many had a true legit #1 center and #1 dman? That is your homework assignment for the day.

A temper tantrum? You must be as soft as Charmain toilet paper if you think this is a temper tantrum. Have a good day snowflake!

At this point, is there any difference between the Superbowl and Wrestlemania? I don't think so, and frankly if I am watching purely for entertainment, Wrestlemania is the better event.

The question is not whether you need a legit #1 defenseman to win a cup, the question is whether Drysdale can be that player. He is only 21 years old and seems to have the talent necessary. Does he have the rest? We will see.

Yes, the question is whether you need a legit #1 to win the Cup. Since you're on record mistakenly thinking that you don't. I think Drysdale can be a legit top pairing defenseman. Whether he be a legit #1, time will tell. I'd say a #2 is a more realistic goal.
